I’ll admit outright I’m not looking to debate but that doesn’t mean others won’t.

I’m definitely not a fan of the guy but I don’t fully understand the absolute hatred people have for Trump. It’s easy to get stuck in an echo chamber though so I would like to hear from the people that despise him to see if I’m missing something. It could be anything from policy, actions, personality, etc. but what are the top three reasons you hate Trump. Resources would be appreciated when applicable so I can read up more on details. Like I said I’m not looking to debate and I know that makes people mad so sorry ahead of time.

I'm a Trump supporter, so I won't be giving you what you ask for. But I'll make a prediction: There will be very few responses that deal with Trump's policies or actions while he was President. It'll be mostly about his personality.

Get ready for a barrage from that "echo chamber" you mentioned.

There are literally hundreds of reasons, here are a few....

• The 6 January 2020 coup attempt.
• Instructing House Speaker Mike Johnson to withhold military aid to Ukraine.
• Through gross management negligence, Trump caused 1,000,000+ American COVID deaths.
• Calling dead US soldiers "losers and suckers" and dissing Gold Star families/widows.
• The national debt rose by $8+ trillion during Trump’s time in office.
• Sucking up to the authoritarians and dictators around the world.
• Still waiting for Mexico to pay for any portion of the wall and still waiting for his promised replacement plans for the ACA (Obamacare).
• Said last week that if elected again he will cut Soicial Security and Medicare benefits.
• Trump is under 91 felony indictments in 4 different US jurisdictions and has been found civilly liable for sexual abuse and defamation (x2).
• His Trump Organization has been found civilly liable for massive fraud.

How much of a trump supporter are you?

Would you die for him?

Would you kill for him?

1. Dictator wanna-be who is looking our for himself only, which results in things like...
- coup attempt and attempting to destroy trust in our electoral system. (I don't mean just Jan 6 - I mean all the stuff he was doing behind the scenes with fake electors and pressure on officials to find him votes, etc - basically (some of many things) he is being sued for)
- placing inadequate people in charge, like his family and wacko conspiracy-theory friends
- corruption: refusal to disassociate from his business dealings, getting US govt employees and foreigners to use his overprices businesses for access to him, getting large loans for Jared from Saudis in exchange for ..., etc.
- blackmailing other countries for his own personal reasons (Ukraine)
- not caring about sharing our country top secrets with random people (without even getting anything in return apparently)
- calls for shooting pretesting Americans on the streets
- drawing hurricane path with a sharpie on top of a real map to try to make some bizzare point?
- breaking alliances with our allies and advancing goals of our enemies geopolitically

2. Utter disregard for American lives, which results in things like
- purposefully letting pandemic run wild because it would affect Blue states more than Red
- disregarding scientists in the middle of pandemic
- in other words, unnecessarily killing Americans for his personal political grievances (100,000s did not need to die as per his own scientists)

3. Disregarding global climate crisis and preferring to enrich businesses instead, allowing for more pollution and less safety (via cutting many important regulations and cutting taxes mostly for the rich and of course for businesses in his organization)

Thank you so much!

First let me state that I don't hate Trump. In fact, I feel sorry for Trump.

That said, among the reasons that I do oppose him vehemently is because he is an unrepentant recidivist criminal fraud, and probably has been his entire life. His record as a recidivist criminal fraud goes back a long way, decades before he became a politician, and that long history should have prevented him from ever being elevated to the Oval Office to begin with. But too large a segment of the American public were infatuated with the game show host, so when he told them what they wanted to hear, they became mesmerized with him beyond any ability to see him for who he really is.

The painful irony is that the bulk of the people with integrity, those who have worked closest with him on a day to day basis, have all commented on his utter lack of qualification for the job. Those observations are in stark contrast with the view of the moronic minions who still remain fawning fans of his, despite all the evidence staring them in the face. For more reasons than are worth going into, Trump is simply unfit for office. Period.

Near as I have been able to discern, @Mycroft won’t even donate to Donald’s cause. This makes him an unwanted and unloved RINO in the eyes of Donald, Lara and Don Jr. Sad.

Sure. Trump mishandled a pandemic that resulted in over a million dead Americans. He provided tax cuts to the wealthy and corporations while trying to end healthcare for millions of Americans. He toilet-tweeted at all hours of the day and night, causing chaos. His revolving door of incompetent administration officials got on the way of governing. And finally, his refusal to leave office at the end of his presidency ended America's almost 300-year tradition of a peaceful transition of power.

There's more, but what I posted are the highlights.

Okie Dokie
I’m definitely not a fan of the guy but I don’t fully understand the absolute hatred people have for Trump.
I have no hatred for the man.
I wish he would just go away and let America get on with being America instead of some Trumpian version of a MAGA Nation.
He has named me an enemy, simply for my not supporting him and his policies and his whims and wiles.
He has worked against my Country's best interests.
He has lied in volumes to the American people.
He has interfered in Congressional conduct to the detriment of the American people for Partisan reassons.
Lord knows I have no like for what he does that is offensive and wrong and anti-American.
I could go on, but I shan't.
It’s easy to get stuck in an echo chamber
Only if you first enter an echo chamber first, which is why I like coming into DP, it isn't one.
though so I would like to hear from the people that despise him
Again, I do not hate the man, but there certainly are a myriad of things Trump has said and done, as president and as a candidate, that have been wholly contemptible and egregiously repugnant, and as such, are worth despising.
to see if I’m missing something.
I am betting that you have missed lots, with a little side bet that you will continue to remain in the "missed lots" column at the end of this thread.
It could be anything from policy, actions, personality, etc. but what are the top three reasons you hate Trump.
I don't hate Trump.
Never have.
Never will.
A better question for you would be why does Donald Trump call me his enemy, and consider me an enemy of the State?
Also, you might ask why Donald Trump feel I have a mental health problem merely for voting for who I wish to vote for?
Also you might ask Donald Trump why he keeps falsely accusing and trash talking folks like me, an Election Worker, making it harder to do my job, and having his rhetoric make my life at risk for working Elections?
Resources would be appreciated when applicable so I can read up more on details.
Where have you been holed up since June 16th, 2015?
Like I said I’m not looking to debate
Why ask for folks to put in all of that effort for you to just sit back and benefit from it without contributing anything of your own.
With any due respect, that sounds lazy.
and I know that makes people mad so sorry ahead of time.
It doesn't make me mad, less respectful of your whole premise, hell yes, but not mad.

I suspect you're trolling but let me answer..... My issue is Trump is a gangster, a rapist, a liar and a thief. All as well documented as you'll find. Do you think Trump haters are making those things up?

What is it with so many Conservatives even those who are just slightly Conservative in seemingly thinking anyone in opposition to Trump or Trumpism is automatically a Trump hater?

That is as stupid as some of those folks on the Right who immediately trot out the rot that folks opposed to Trump and Trumpism are somehow mentally deranged about Trump and suffering alleged TDS.

Really would be funny, if it weren't so very unperceptive.

The OP has already all but flat out stated they do not plan to participate in their own thread, so I wouldn't expect a response.

1. His deplorable character. He is a shit human being with zero positive personality traits, and as such wholly unsuited to lead a two car parade, let alone a nation.

2. His rhetoric, which is entirely apocalyptic and divisive in nature. In essense? "This country (and your lives) sucks, here's who to blame for it, and I am the one to save you/help you get payback."

3. His willingness to undermine confidence in our democracy to stay in power. That is the characteristic of a tyrant.

Isn't there something you don't like about Trump, even something minor? Like, I don't know, maybe you didn't like his approach towards North Korea (for example). I mean, no candidate is perfect and it would be refreshing to hear from a Trump supporter about what you'd like Trump to improve on or correct.

The problem is where to start.

How about Trump University.
A university run by Trump with his name on it that swindled people and Trump was forced to pay millions when it was uncovered.

Then we have the Casino Trump bought that went bancrupt due to Trump and he left hundreds or people with crippling debt when he just walked away and didn't give a sigle shit about unpaid contractors.

Then we have his personality which is completely toxic and all about power and crushing people he feels isn't good or loyal enough to him.

How about the fact that he hasn't needed to work a day in his life and belittles people who do actually work and treats them like subhuman scum as has been testified by people who've worked for him?

That's just the tip of a huge iceburg of shit but apparent;ly fort people like Mycroft not liking Trump is somehow something he can't grasp and must be a symptom of a syndrome.

Yes, Trump is the last person I'd vote for and I'd rather vote for no President and just have the country run without a leader.

He's like a horny schoolboy pining for a hot gym teacher.
He will never see anything bad about Trump and anyone who does must be mentally ill in his mind.

Facts mean nothing, only his feelings and he will always back Trump.

Oh, the OP should also ask Trump why he chose to intentionally or ignorantly lie to the American people 30,573 times in his term of the presidency.

There is a poster here, in DP, a very strongly opposed to President Biden poster, who once a week or so comes out with a new Thread about "Lyin' Biden" which I think is a HOOT because, had that poster been all in about Presidential Lies during the previous administration he would have been posting "Lyin' Trump" threads at the rate of 20.9 a DAY to keep up with president Trump's rate of lying to the American people.

Trump's policies were adversely affected by his personality. His response to COVID ("It'll go away like a miracle, I take no responsibility at all") is the most glaring example.

Laugh out loud: What benefits put trump in the White House, error, on the golf course in Florida? Those in the Middle Classes and Working Poor, those who build/repair America are now aware that the Republican Party want one thing: Power.

trump, the MAGA Child has a large number of Personality Disorders, and those who read below will not need to debate, to wit:

Cluster A personality disorders involve unusual and odd thoughts and behaviors. It includes:

  • Paranoid personality disorder, in which a person has paranoia (an extreme fear and distrust of others). They may think that someone is trying to harm them.
  • Schizoid personality disorder, in which a person prefers to be alone and is not interested in having relationships with others.
  • Schizotypal personality disorder, in which a person has unusual thoughts and ways of behaving and speaking. They are uncomfortable having close relationships with others.
Cluster B personality disorders involve dramatic and emotional thoughts and behaviors that can keep changing. It includes:

  • Antisocial personality disorder, in which a person has a long-term pattern of manipulating, exploiting, or violating the rights of others.
  • Borderline personality disorder, in which a person has lots of trouble managing their emotions. This makes them impulsive and uncertain about how they see themselves. It can cause a lot of trouble in their relationships.
  • Histrionic personality disorder, in which a person is dramatic, has strong emotions, and always wants attention from others.
  • Narcissistic personality disorder, in which a person lacks empathy and wants to be admired by others. They think that they are better than others and that they deserve special treatment.
Cluster C personality disorders involve anxious and fearful thoughts and behaviors. It includes:

  • Avoidant personality disorder, in which a person is very shy and feels that they are not as good as others. They often avoid people because they fear rejection.
  • Dependent personality disorder, in which a person depends too much on others and feels that they need to be taken care of. They may let others treat them badly because they are afraid of losing the relationship.
  • Obsessive-compulsive personality disorder, in which a person needs control and order. They are perfectionists and can be inflexible. Although some of the symptoms are similar, this is not the same thing as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

MyCroft is not an ordinary Trump Supporter, he is the Apex Trump Apologist of DP-landia!
I would say most consistent serial apologist. Apex implies he's good at it. The only consistency is dishonesty. Can't ever win if all you do is lie.

I have to admit I don’t know enough about the criminal fraud from decades ago. I’ve heard bits here and there but that’s something I will have to put more research into. Thank you!
