Now that we all agree gun control is a good thing, as was made clear here over the past few days when everyone supported Trump's demand that guns be controlled at his 4th of July rally...

2nd Amendment Hypocrisy

Let's address the problem of too many guns. Maybe we can prevent crap like this from popping up in the news every couple of days.

2 young children were life flighted after suspect fired a gun at their car, igniting the fireworks inside

A family of four was injured in an apparent "road rage incident" in Houston Thursday night after a suspect fired a gun at their car, igniting the newly-bought fireworks inside, authorities said.

The children, a 1-year-old and a 2-year-old, sustained "severe burns" and had to be life flighted for their injuries, according to Deputy Tom Turner with the Harris County Sheriff's Office violent crimes unit.

Another day and another "good guy with a gun" loses his **** and harms innocent people.

There was a shooting Asbury Park beach during the fireworks here in NJ...

Goes to show that the idiotic gun control laws in that State don't really help decrease crime

Well, then why was their gun control at the rally? Obviously, the "smart" people know gun control is effective. If I recall, you supported that gun control.

These were law abiding gun owners using guns stupidly.

and there are laws designed to punish such behavior. The problem with liberal gun control ideas are that they target the people least likely to harm others with guns because honest gun owners are the enemy of liberals, not criminals

These were honest gun owners. They still acted stupid.

And they will suffer the consequences. So what exactly is your point?

Maybe they should have been smart and kept their guns locked up. What's the point of bringing them to a fireworks display? Not very law abiding...

what law did they violate by bringing the guns? What is your solution since you are obviously bothered by this

There are too many people with guns, obviously.

People like you support laws that only disarm those who normally don't cause problems. You push for gun laws based on how people vote

Have we exceeded the alloted 2500 murders per year by 'legal gun owners' that are 'statistically insignificant' to some ?

At what number does a cause of death become statistically significant in a population of more than 300 Million?

I guess for certain people only when it involves them.

Maybe you could start another thread asking the wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, sisters, brothers, friends, of the deceased, and get further input as to your query. How about that idea ?

That looks like "too many criminals" to me.

As far as the bullet igniting the fireworks? That was a fluke, if it actually happened.
