Flu is skyrocketing currently. A particularly nasty version this year.
Covid is up.
Bird Flu appears to have crossed into the human barrier.
Some of the more progressive hospitals are requiring masks again and the knuckle dragging MAGA crowd want masks outlawed.

Freakin morons.
 
Just saw my doctor. I got my flu shot. She didn't instruct me to wear a mask, and no masks are required in the doctor's office. Unlike MAGA-idiots - I comply with medical advice from medical professionals. Not from the advice of red-pilled characters on the internet.
 
There is a vast difference between not wanting to be forced to use them and wanting them outlawed.

I have never seen any authoritarian wanting them outlawed, I have seen countless authoritarians wanting them required, however.

The benefit of masks is largely overblown. Virtually none of the viruses are easily spread by casual contact. They are spread by extended contact primarily indoors in the home, public schools and office. If there is a pandemic masks can help at the schools and office, however we largely just need people to recover at home if they catch a virus, flu, covid, or otherwise. If I am in an enclosed area indoors and someone starts coughing and hacking with a virus, I might put a mask on if one is available, but otherwise our immune systems need work.

In my case the horse 🐎 already escaped the barn, so to speak. Or whatever hit me already got past the gates. That was like a week before Christmas. So I am actually at the tail end of the storm in my sinuses.

I have found doctors in error countless times.

You think they are immune from bias?

Do you know what gaslighting means?

Did you know 1 in 5 doctors make mistaken diagnoses? That was published in JAMA.
Do you know what JAMA is?

Ever been on a crowed subway? Train? Airliner?

Did you know the Bird flu has jumped the human barrier?

Do you know the current Covid rate in your state?

Do you know how many kids died last week of the flu in your state?

I know you don't know the answers.

Your posts just rattle off attacks at the wise, the educated. They take solace in not talking personal responsibility claiming it is the sole roll of others.

I am in Illinois and those wearing masks are very much in the minority now. The rein of terror is over.

In fact it is not. The key is, the one who is sick wearing one benefits you best.

Masks pretty much halt the flu and cold.

With Covid you both need to be wearing one.

If someone has Covid and is not wearing a mask but you are, you are only about 20 percent protected.
If the person with Covid is wearing one and you not, that his mask protects you 50 percent.

If both you and the inflected wear one, you protection goes to 70%.

Like I said, enjoy the conspiracy theory. Cherry picking nations, ignoring all other factors, is perhaps the biggest showing of ignorance.
