Be sure to listen long enough to catch the shows finale, brought to you by Keith "bathtub boy" Olbermann.

Now, does anyone want to talk about political pundits and promoting violence?

"Political liberals" are notorious for their intolerance. As George Orwell put it, "That which is not mandatory is forbidden."

You should have heard the Gibson show when they did this same thing when Cheney went into the hospital, and Tony Snow died of cancer. They both made the liberal rage over Lieberman, look like a love fest.

.

I remember both of those cases, but this time they are eating one of their own. For the inexcusable sin of apostasy, I suppose.

I hear ole Joe won't rule out running as a Republican next go around.

I'd like to see what the teapartiers do in that event. Club for Growthers? It should be funny.

You're kidding, right? Seen a republican purity test lately? :doh

what exactly did "they" do? thanks.

Olbermann's the worst kind of discourteous lout. We shouldn't hold his behavior against mainstream progressives any more than we should hold the likes of Coulter or Limbaugh against decent conservatives. Despite their widespread popularity, people like this do not speak for the majority of Americans, and it is a shame that our political discourse is so frequently dragged down to their mediocre level.

Whaddya mean, Korimyr? He always uses his 'sirs' and good-manners words when he's ranting

As a matter of fact I haven't ever seen a Republican purity test, at least not on the scale that Democrats use. Republicans tend to be more tolerant than Democrats (e.g., the Republican conventions will allow both pro-choice and pro-life speakers; Democrats allow only pro-choice speakers).

Unfortunately, some Republicans drank the Kool-Aid and morphed into Democrat-lite, which caused them to richly deserve their election losses in 2006 and 2008. Now that we have experienced two years of a Dem congress and one year of a super-heavy Dem government drowning in the Kool-Aid, I have hope that the Republicans will listen to the Tea Party movement and return to the principles of fiscal integrity and limited government that allowed the country to prosper in the eighties and nineties.
