THP, ICE make 150 traffic stops overnight, detain unknown number (1 Viewer)

I wasn't aware of the bolded.

If there's outstanding deportation notices for due cause, this might be treasonable. But if ICE is picking them up simply because they are easy pickings, then it's despicable.

ICE as an organization and its members are despicable and are engaged in flagrant lawlessness. That is why they wear masks and blur their faces in their own bodycam footage like they are members of some paramilitary police force in a former Soviet bloc country. There is no reason for local, state or federal police officers who are actually acting in the capacity of public servants to wear masks. They do it because are afraid that they will be targeted for arrest if and when the Trump regime falls. And, in a just world, they should be afraid.

I'm guessing it's probably more to make sure they can't be easily identified by members of the public, who could then post that information to social media to some watch dog group. To be clear, this is in no way a defense of the practice or of their conduct, but that's the likely reason in this day and age of digital surveillance, where even members of the general public can surveil the surveillors (if that's even a word).
