This is an article from Newsweek last Tuesday that I found pretty interesting:

Though Most LGBTQs Vote Democratic, New Poll Shows 45% of Queer Men Backing Trump

A recent survey of 1,200 queer men in the United States found that 45 percent planned on voting for Republican President Donald Trump. Comparatively, 51 percent said they would vote for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

The poll, conducted by the queer men's social app Hornet, actually asked 10,000 of its users worldwide about their preferred presidential candidate. But while 66 percent of worldwide users supported Biden and 34 percent supported Trump, the percentages among U.S. men were much closer.

Nearly 10 percent of the U.S. queer men who said they "do not support [Trump] at all" said that they will vote for him regardless.

The line that grabbed me was this one:

"However, 10 percent of the U.S. men who said they "do not support [Trump] at all" said that they will vote for him regardless."

There's only one reason that 10% of gay men in the US who do not like Trump at all would still vote for him... It's because what the Democrats offer is so unappealing. That could be any number of things, like they see Biden as to far gone and incapable of governing. Maybe it's the thought of Harris being made president when Joe falls completely apart. It could be the fact that they've lived through 4 years of watching democrats do nothing else but go after Trump. Maybe they see the democrats as a danger to the country after watching them either directly, or silently, support violent riots in cities across the US.... or maybe it's all of the above.

The Hornet Poll

Of the 10,000 men Hornet surveyed, 12% identified themselves as U.S. citizens. Of those 1,200 American men, 51% answered they would be voting for Joe Biden in the upcoming presidential election, while 45% — just shy of one-half — said they would be casting their ballot for Donald Trump.

Twelve percent of 10000 is 1200, yes?
Thirty-four percent of 1200 is 408, yes?

How ****ing desperate does one have to be to try to equate 408 voters into a national trend?

Why are you attacking me? The story is from Newsweek, not something I made up.

The one thing in my post that should concern you and anyone else infected with TDS, is the part you ignored. The fact that 10% of those men in that survey who didn't support trump, and said that there wasn't any policy of his they supported, said they were going to vote for him anyway. I don't remember ever seeing any poll in any previous election, where people who 100% disagreed with a presidential candidate said they were still going to vote for that candidate.

Why don't you take your political blinders off and give that some thought.

This is not the least bit surprising. My brother is a gay conservative. Just because he's gay doesn't mean he wants leftwing lunatics ruining the economy and the country. It's the same logic where people think blacks would want their neighborhoods less safe by doing away with the police.

I don't know how many are, but I would venture you'd be hard pressed to find any of them who don't like Joe Biden and are against every single one of his policy proposals.

gay men tend to be more affluent than many other groups. Biden's tax hike schemes don't appeal to them. More and more gays are becoming gun owners too.
