Statues of Mr. Floyd will soon be going up everywhere.

After all, the current Speaker of the House said that the gentleman should never be forgotten.

When the Honorable Speaker retires (hopefully next year), she will no doubt push for such a statue in San Francisco, a lovely Dem woke Utopia.
 
Trump noted that is was a real shame since Jefferson helped write the constitution. lol. Nothing like complaining about the removal of statue of a famous person about whom you have no clue.
 
Maybe replace it with statues of his slaves that be had sex with?

Jefferson didn’t have a 14 year old slave girl in Paris. What he did have was regular correspondence with his mentee Madison about the Constitution. So, although he didn’t write it, he certainly influenced its content.

You’ll have to ask the city council that. According to the OP, they removed Jefferson because “we want to make sure the total story is told.” I don’t know what story they’re talking about or how they intend to tell a “total story” about Jefferson without Jefferson.

When Sally Hemings was 14, she was chosen by Jefferson’s sister-in-law to accompany his daughter Maria to Paris, France, as a domestic servant and maid in Jefferson’s household.
