Not sure how that will play out, but I'm guessing most hospitals will insist on their emlployees getting one. What do you think?

so why wouldn’t we require those who will be transporting you or your loved ones to be immunized? Who are the employers of the fire department?

I agree. Most hospital systems will make it mandatory just as a lot do for the Flu shot. Will be interesting to see how these employees react to that. I would definitely feel like a test subject.

I think that would make hospitals culpable for any adverse effects that are linked to the vaccine.

Well they might just do that , no? But in the firefighters case they probably won't have much luck and we both know why. Union.

I think most hospitals will take the ' strongly suggest 'approach at first. Then if pans out to be safe and effective they will move to make it mandatory

Every drug out there has long term side effects.

As to your second question, the point is nobody knows.

Go watch any drug commercial and at the end they list the side effects they have encountered with the drug and sometimes it affects their health long term.

Do you want to be that test subject that get s a kidney condition from the vaccine?
 
The problem I see with the vaccine is having the virus doesn't create antibodies.

The doctor caring for a friend of mine has said he has had Covid 5 times. If the virus created antibodies in his system why did he get it again?

The virus seem to be creating very temporary antibodies. And while it differs from case to case the average seems to be 3 months of antibodies, but it could for sure be shorter or longer. This is antibodies from having the virus, antibodies from vaccines work a little different.

Well I hope that is the case but we won't know for quite a while after the vaccines are given to people.

Yeah, but they are first responders with a high contact rate among the general public. In fact, they are often dealing with high-risk groups in situations that do not allow for proper distancing or other safety measures. That, would scare the bejeezus out of me!

Also, side effects of DRUGS almost always go away after you stop taking the med.

Umm no most hospitals will tell their employees take it or leave. And they are already getting the legal form you have to sign so you cant sue them ready. Employees of hospitals will have no choice some will take it simply because they cant afford to lose their jobs others will because they believe then you have the few that say bye, time to retire.

yeah that could happen . Time will tell.
