SOH is second in line to the POTUS, doesn't that person also have to be eligible to hold that job?

I know there s a lot of bullshit out there, especially on this platform, but the way they are knocking down norms……

The succession issue aside, Rand is right. The left's collective head would explode.

Regarding succession, Musk could be Speaker but not President. If it would come to it, the succession would just skip him and go to the next person in line.

Sometimes the negativity emanating from certain posters is so overwhelming it reminds people of certain TV characters who constantly forecast gloom and doom for the country.

Oh, it’s going to be an amusing 119th Congress.

The 118th was just a warm up round apparently - and is going out with as much chaos as they’ve demonstrated their entire term.

Wonder how many Speakers we will see in the 119th? Any guesses?

He could be made speaker, but in the event of the loss of the VP, he could not become VP due to amendment 12, so it would pass on to the next guy.

President Musk is already President in all manners except the actual official title. He owns Trump, therefore he owns the presidency.

But yes, he can be Speaker as well. If something were to happen to Co-President Trump and VP Vance, the line of succession would bypass Musk in the official role and move on to whoever is President pro tempore of the Senate when it goes down.
