With real-estate prices being relatively free-market, I think it's fair to say buyers are voting with their dollars.

There's reason why a buyer pays a market price: They perceive the value is worth it.

The value of a 3bdrm house in Biloxi or Selma is perceived to be far less than one in the San Francisco Bay area. It's that simple.

BTW - You picked a great nick! Buster Keaton was a complex and interesting character, all the way from & through the Vaudeville, Classic, and Mid-Century film eras. He covered a lot of ground!

California is what America will be in 20 years if Trump fails to constrain the sedition of insurrectionist judges like Boasberg and Reyes.

We thought that if we won elections we could save our state. We soon found that elections mean nothing. That the left will simply overrule any election that goes against them.

Time and time again the people voted to save California. Time and time again the left crushed democracy through corrupt federal judges and marched on with their agenda.
