There is absolute proof that the DELUGE actually happened

Your AI is failing you there. "The beast with two backs" is a euphemism for sexual intercourse popularized by the Bard of Avon. If copulating with a Seraphim, that "beast" would have five faces and four wings in addition to the two backs. Therin lies the humor.

The point was that the flood did not wipe out the angels, so there were still angels after the flood for Noah's descendants to shag with, and the Biblical account of Nephilim among the Canaanites confirms this as being canonical.
Sorry, I'm not into fiction...

One notable euphemism for sexual intercourse popularized by Shakespeare is "making the beast with two backs." This phrase is used in the opening scene of Othello when Iago tells Desdemona's father, Brabantio, that his daughter and Othello are now "making the beast with two backs". This expression vividly describes the physical act of sexual intercourse.

Shakespeare appears to have borrowed this phrase from the French writer François Rabelais. Though it has entered common usage, it still retains its ability to provoke a sense of humor and perhaps a blush from a modern audience.

It's important to remember that Shakespeare's works are filled with various sexual euphemisms and innuendos, often used to create humor or convey specific meanings without explicit language. Other examples include "die" as a euphemism for orgasm and "nothing" as a term for the female genitalia.

You are definitely into fiction, just not Shakespeare. At any rate, congratulations on learning about a new euphemism.

Back to the point, the Seraphim were not killed in the flood, so they were still around to "make the beast with two backs" (which you now know means to have sex) with mortals after the flood to produce new post-flood Nephilim.

2 Types of Truth in Fiction: Do You Know Which One …

Did you know there are two types of truth in fiction?

Whatever stories we write include statements about the world, whether or not we want them to. Brilliant authors use theme to their advantage; they use story as a means to tell others about poverty, slavery, love, and courage.

So, you think there is truth even in fiction...got it...

Naturally. There are truths to be learned from Tolkien, Harry Potter, Star Wars*, Beowulf, etc.

*With the notable exception of the sequel trilogy. There is no truth to be learned in that garbage.

It is a cornerstone of western literature. One can learn a great deal about the thoughts and values of other humans from the Bible. It is downright necessary to understanding the context of a lot of other literature.

I never suggested otherwise.

I don't recall anyone here at DP, believer or non-believer, Christian theist or non-Christian theist, ever declaring there are "no truths" to be found in the Christian bible.

People are fickle. They fight over resources. They like the idea of contributing in a meaningful way to something greater than their own immediate experience. They see sacrifice as a virtue and find value in loss. They are transactional, even in their spirituality.

Just to name a few.

that's what i like to do here, see further down the Road, when things are Dark and Dismal. then strike a match that will light up the whole room.

Nah. She's just trying to change the subject because she knows she was wrong about the Nephilim.

It must be embarrassing when atheists know more about Bible canon than believers.
lol...

Logic, stop with the Status quo and just getting by on the atheist train. at least move up to @AConcernedCitizen caliber, her stuff is rarely lite weight such as i see coming from yur pen.

My 'mancave' alone has over 1200 square feet of "rooom" which includes 2 huge flat screens, a pool table, and an arcade with numerous vintage pinball machines.. ;)
Im soooo jealous. But does it have a bar?

Ain't that the truth? How about never...

hard to say.

he scrutinizes everything you say, creating Snide remarks; in general his stuff about you is a retread of a retread ad nauseam.

in the end @Logician Man i have compassion on you and desire for you to step up yur game before commenting. as of late, i haven't seen anything to respond to.

for instance: look at my July 9 stuff ok. nobody has a Corner on July 9 so i created one.

you can be an ally and see that this thing can go places, maybe do some research into the Bible Prophecy taught in the last 50 years. there are tons of resources on this, and YouTube is over flowing. i gave you a few Links to get started.

here is a good link for July 9:

and i know you clueless on David Wilkerson, a snide remark will not cut it either, don't try.
