Bailey then began the program by declaring that “there’s one thing that I know for sure, and this is the raw truth: The raw truth was on Nov. 3, 2020, President Donald J. Trump won the election.”

“We’re still waiting on the election to be corrected, and we’re not going anywhere,” Bailey added. “That election was rigged. It was stolen. But I got news for you, and I got news for you watching on television: There’s thousands of people in this room that say, ‘We’re taking our nation back!'”

“There is an agenda that’s not Democrat versus Republican,” Bailey proclaimed. “The agenda that’s in our nation right now is good versus evil—and I’m not calling any party evil although you can figure out probably where I’m coming from. … If you’re not willing to give up your nation to a woke agenda that’s not left, it’s liberal—it’s so far liberal, it’s out to destroy the very fabric of this nation, rip your children away from your families. … They want to educate your children. They want to take your kids from you. They don’t want you to do anything that resembles Christianity or stand up for what’s right or stand up for what’s truth.”

After leading the audience in a round of cheers and applause for Trump, Bailey was joined on stage by self-proclaimed “prophet” Hank Kunneman, who declared that President Joe Biden belongs in prison for treason.

“The thief is being found,” Kunneman said. “They’re being exposed by the hand of God.”

“There is a payback coming,” he bellowed. “They’re talking about Biden’s poll numbers, what they really need to be talking about is cell numbers—not phone, prison cell numbers. These guys have committed a crime! They have committed treason against the United States of America and its Constitution. They did not care about you, your pocketbook, or your children, and they want everything inside of their demonic agenda to bring you down and this nation. But I’m here to tell you that they are standing against something greater than all of us: It is Almighty God who loves the United States of America, and he loves his church, and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it.”

FBI has a ton of folk there I would bet.

Money grubbin' prosperity gospel preacher and he's about as "christian" as my left nut.

Damn, He starts off with a Strawman the size of Rhode Island and then worships it. You would think that no sane person would actually fall for that crap.

“Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.”
-Voltaire

“Man once surrendering his reason, has no remaining guard against absurdities the most monstrous, and like a ship without rudder, is the sport of every wind. With such persons, gullibility, which they call faith, takes the helm from the hand of reason, and the mind becomes a wreck.
-Thomas Jefferson

Kenneth Copeland doesn't represent any Christians, conservatives, or popular opinions that I'm aware of.

It is very easy for me to be an atheist in the United States. I do not have to join Christianity at all.

However, it is nearly impossible to decline to be a member in the Church of Woke. Despite so much diversity and individuality in this country, the new left has taken it upon themselves to slot us all into groups and define the rules of which we must obey. Zero dissent allowed.

Meanwhile, the Republican party is becoming (or always was) the party of individual liberty: live and let live.

Regardless of the presence or absence of any gods and questions of with which particular religion they identify with, we have certain standards of ethical behavior in this country. Rudeness, intolerance, and hate towards other people based on their skin color, ethnicity, or sexual orientation will not be tolerated. Yes- zero tolerance allowed. We do not tolerate intolerance and hate, even if you tell us that’s what your god/gods command. There is no hypocrisy in this. It is no longer considered socially acceptable behavior in polite society.

This is what American democracy and freedom are all about, not the backward Taliban morality of the Christians. The whole purpose of the American Revolution was to put behind us their oppressive Puritanism, intolerance, and hate:

“During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What have been its fruits? More or less in all places, pride and indolence in the Clergy, ignorance and servility in the laity, in both, superstition, bigotry and persecution...In some instances they have been seen to erect a spiritual tyranny on the ruins of the Civil authority; in many instances they have been seen upholding the thrones of political tyranny: in no instance have they been seen the guardians of the liberties of the people. Rulers who wished to subvert the public liberty, may have found an established Clergy convenient auxiliaries. A just Government instituted to secure & perpetuate it needs them not.”
-James Madison

“But how has it happened that millions of fables, tales, legends have been blended with both Jewish and Christian revelation that have made them the most bloody religion that ever existed?” – John Adams, letter to FA Van der Kamp, December 27, 1816.

"History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance of which their civil as well as religious leaders will always avail themselves for their own purposes."
-Thomas Jefferson to Alexander von Humboldt, Dec. 6, 1813.

"They [the Christian clergy] believe that any portion of power confided to me, will be exerted in opposition to their schemes. And they believe rightly; for I have sworn upon the altar of god, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man. But this is all they have to fear from me: and enough, too, in their opinion."
-Thomas Jefferson to Dr. Benjamin Rush, Sept. 23, 1800

If being intolerant of the Taliban Christians is intolerance and suppression of “freedom”, then the founding fathers of this country would have been the first to plead guilty:

"Mingling religion with politics may be disavowed and reprobated by every inhabitant of America...All national institutions of churches, whether Jewish, Christian, or Turkish (Muslim), appear to me no other than human inventions set up to terrify and enslave mankind, and monopolize power and profit."
-Thomas Payne

"It seems to me that the regulative idea that we – we wet liberals, we heirs of the Enlightenment, we Socratists – most frequently use to criticize the conduct of various conversational partners is that of ‘needing education in order to outgrow their primitive fear, hatreds, and superstitions’. This is the concept the victorious Allied armies used when they set about re-educating the citizens of occupied Germany and Japan. It is also the one which was used by American schoolteachers who had read Dewey and were concerned to get students to think ‘scientifically’ and ‘rationally’ about such matters as the origin of the species and sexual behavior. It is a concept which I, like most Americans who teach humanities or social science in colleges and universities, invoke when we try to arrange things so that students who enter as bigoted, homophobic, religious fundamentalists will leave college with views more like our own...The fundamentalist parents of our fundamentalist students think that the entire “American liberal Establishment” is engaged in a conspiracy.

The parents have a point. Their point is that we liberal teachers no more feel in a symmetrical communication situation when we talk with bigots than do kindergarten teachers talking with their students. […] When we American college teachers encounter religious fundamentalists, we do not consider the possibility of reformulating our own practices of justification so as to give more weight to the authority of the Christian scriptures. Instead, we do our best to convince these students of the benefits of secularization. We assign first-person accounts of growing up homosexual to our homophobic students for the same reasons that German schoolteachers in the postwar period assigned The Diary of Anne Frank. The racist or fundamentalist parents of our students[…] will protest that these books are being jammed down their children’s throats. I cannot see how to reply to their charges without saying something like “There are credentials for admission to our democratic society […]. You have to be educated in order to be … a participant in our conversation … So we are going to go right on trying to discredit you in the eyes of your children, trying to strip your fundamentalist religious community of dignity, trying to make your views seem silly rather than discussable. We are not so inclusivist as to tolerate intolerance such as yours.”

Vile pigs the lot of them.

Good find.

The link between modern education and atheism has been established by several polls, none of which I can find at the moment. A quick glance at ancient Greece or modern atheists makes my point. Brainiacs all. Education is dangerous to theocracy, as it has been for centuries, especially education in science.

The Christian Nationalist rhetoric is militant, and as we've seen, there are those willing to act on the rhetoric.

I see no need for alarm, and as others have mentioned, the FBI is well aware of the powder kegs these groups can be. I am kinda worried about the level of crazy in the nation right now. Steve Schmidt said 25% of the country has always been batshit crazy, but this is the first time that whole 25% went batshit crazy over one man.

I found this. Extremely comprehensive. Going over it now.

Agreed, which tells us those who do aren't sane. That or pitifully uneducated.

That's hogwash. Progressives do not control the left much less the Democrats. Your argument is political. Christian Nationalism is preached from tax-exempt churches. I don't like wokesters, either. But they are relatively harmless compared to organized religious militance. Those are the Republicans. So no, it's the opposite of live and let live.
