I expected this excellent collection complied by The Boston Globe to have been posted by now. As it has not been I must immediately rectify the situation. Truly INCREDIBLE photography!

Amazing photography. I so enjoy year in review pictorials, especially those of such high quality.

BTW, I had to point this photo out. It's not the best, nor the most dramatic. But was so good about it--in my opinion--is that it's a completely real and unadulterated photo that looks fake.

Cool.

I would argue that image is layered. The white lines around the central subject.

According to them, it's not. This is the write-up:

Italian soccer club AC Milan's newly signed player Ronaldinho of Brazil attends his presentation at San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy on July 17, 2008. I was just going to say that looks more like natural back lighting than layering to me!

Me too. The fuzzy hair is what made me think that.

I could be wrong but from this image on this board it looks like a layering (cut and paste) to me. The white lines are just not smooth enough for back lighting IMHO. It could be several things like the image going through several generations or just odd light.

IT and Sir Loin are both correct... the hair gives it away. But I will admit that at first, I thought it was fake too.

I could only accept it as real on someone's word. Above the black head covering there is just too much that looks like a bad cut out. And the sharpness of the other white lines believes me to believe this. But hey I could be wrong. It would be first but I could be wrong:mrgreen:

Amazing shots. Thanks for sharing.
