The World's Top 15 Strongest Militaries

Russia's got the world's largest nuclear arsenal.
So what?

Once you have a hundred nukes, the number of nukes you have stops mattering.

The chart is misleading because superpowers such as China, Russia, United States and maybe India can fight a large global war while someone like Israel cannot. However Israel can certainly hold it's own in a localized conflict as we have seen. With regard to number one, I'd put the USA and China as tied at number one. I'd sure hate to see the two of us duke it out.

Then why has Pentagon built so many more?

Damn. That list is insane.

Russia's got the world's largest nuclear arsenal. The chances of China fighting Russia are much smaller than China fighting USA.
Think we ain't got nukes? You only need so many, the rest is just overkill. Russian tech is behind the times, not as much a China, but they ain't doing great. Can't even beat Ukraine.

Your Russian propaganda is a fail, hope Putin didn't pay too many rubles for this.

Germany's military is small but it is extremely well-equipped and - unless they've changed since the 1990s - very well trained and professional.
Germany has let there military fall apart for quite a while now.

The condition of the military's fleet of fighter planes, tanks, helicopters and ships is described as "dramatically bad". The report also says a lack of spare parts and outdated equipment has left "big gaps" in the armed forces.

"In terms of equipment, the Bundeswehr is not yet fully operational," Högl said. "There is a lack of ammunition, of spare parts, of radio devices; there is a lack of tanks, of ships and of aircraft."

Poor readiness. A lack of working mission capable equipment as well as shortages in maintenance parts and ammunition.

China has far less power projection capability than the US.

With just one iirc foreign military base and about 67 heavy cargo planes China would have difficulty in projecting power more than 1000 miles from its border

China outside of nuclear subs (keeping them quiet) China is likely ahead of Russia on tech.

Russia is importing washing machines from China to get computer chip if I recall correctly.

The j20 and y20 planes are ahead of Russian designs and Chinese surface ships are far more advanced.

China has a very robust electronics industry,

In an economy teetering on collapse.

According to preliminary data released by the authorities, China's GDP in 2023 was CN¥126.06 trillion (US$ 17.89 trillion) with a real increase of 5.2% from 2022. All values, unless otherwise stated, are in US dollars. China is the world's largest manufacturing economy and exporter of goods.

"The strongest military" in the world can't even deal with a far smaller country that is using surplus donated equipment and cheap home-made drones.

That's a strange ranking system you got there.

Nah, Russia is very predictably winning - in spite of all the NATO countries trying to prop up the Kyiv regime.
