The Victory

Why?

She never had the position of Border Czar.
Yes she did. Its not an official position its a colloquialism used to label someone put in charge of a situation. Like Tom Holman is now being called the border czar. Obviously I was making a flippant remark about getting tips from Harris.

BTW, Trump pulled off a clean sweep of all 7 swing states!

I went with polls that it would be a tight race and the swing states were in the margin of error. However if anyone was going to under poll it would be Trump and that could be a 5 point difference. I mentioned that could be the case in a few posts.

“How Great Thou Art” RINGS OUT after the Victory Speech

Are the lyrics "How Great Though Art" in reference to Trump, here? Or, to the Holy Creator?

Either way, this is why non-MAGA find this troubling. The former reference implies cultism, the latter alludes to Theocracy.

What happened 6 days out, and within 72 hours after winning?

The TRUMP EFFECT

Appointment of the first female Chief of Staff
Dow Jones hits new record high, along with Nasdaq and S&P 500
Latest migrant caravan heading for the border shrunk by half
Hamas wants immediate end to war with Israel
Ukraine and Russia ready for talks
EU considering replacing Russian oil export with oil export from the USA
The Taliban wants to start a new chapter with the USA
China expresses hope for a peaceful co-existence with the USA

All this reminiscent when Reagan's election win was announced.

Why?

She never had the position of Border Czar.
There is no US federal government position with the title of 'Border Czar'.

The media appointed her as such.

and then later, when it became politically inconvenient, that same media lied to everyone that they hadn't.

Why?

She never had the position of Border Czar.

While "Border Czar" was never her formal title, it's quite clear that she was put in charge of the border situation and delegated the authority to do so. The Democrats attempt to gaslight the public that she wasn't after her failure to do so was their second biggest lie, after trying to hide Biden's mental state. Here's some quotes to prove it:

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden has tapped Vice President Kamala Harris to lead the White House effort to tackle the migration challenge at the U.S. southern border and work with Central American nations to address root causes of the problem.

Biden made the announcement as he and Harris met at the White House on Wednesday with Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandra Mayorkas and other immigration advisers to discuss the increase in migrants, including many unaccompanied minors, arriving at the border in recent weeks.

In delegating the matter to Harris, Biden is seeking to replicate a dynamic that played out when he served as President Barack Obama’s vice president. Obama turned to Biden in his first term to lead the White House effort to draw down U.S. troops in Iraq and oversee implementation of stimulus in response to the Great Recession.

“When she speaks, she speaks for me,” Biden said, noting her past work as California’s attorney general makes her specially equipped to lead the administration’s response.

That makes her in effect Mayorkas' boss and responsible for the entire situation.

While working with other countries was part of her remit, all these articles make it crystal clear that "President Joe Biden tapped Vice President Kamala Harris to lead the White House effort to tackle the migration challenge at the U.S. southern border AND work with Central American nations to address root causes of the problem."

President Joe Biden is placing Kamala Harris in charge of addressing the substantial uptick in migrants, including unaccompanied children, flocking to the U.S.-Mexico border, handing a major political risk to his vice president.

CNN boss Mark Thompson to lay off hundreds after Election Day ratings wipeout: report

Mass layoffs and pay cuts at CNN after US election ratings disaster

CNN boss Mark Thompson is set to lay off hundreds of employees following Donald Trump's successful bid for the White House.
Thompson has set his sights on cutting high-priced hosts and anchors as part of wide-ranging layoffs throughout the organisation.

The left-leaning channel saw lower viewership numbers than MSNBC and Fox News during last week’s Election Night coverage.

According to Puck News, CNN will carry out “layoffs that will impact hundreds of employees across the organisation”.

Puck News added Thompson will fire personnel whose “talents won’t necessarily be needed in the new digital-first landscape”.

The expected changes follow CNN’s dismal ratings during the Election Day coverage last week.
CNN peaked at only 5.1 million viewers during primetime hours last Tuesday compared to 10.3 million on Fox News, according to Nielsen data.

MSNBC ratings plunge after Trump election victory — as more than half of primetime audience flees

The Comcast-owned cable news channel — which drew a daily average of 1.1 million viewers throughout October – saw its audience shrink to a daily average of 736,000 on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday after Election Day, according to Nielsen Media Research data reported by Fox News.

That amounted to a 31% drop following Trump’s decisive victory, in which he swept the popular vote and all seven key swing states.

Meanwhile, Fox News ratings surged a whopping 61% during the same period, according to Nielsen data reported by Fox.
The losses are a sharp turnaround from Election Day, when MSNBC’s election night coverage, anchored by Rachel Maddow, averaged 6 million viewers, besting CNN’s 5.1 million viewers, according to Nielsen data.

Fox News came out on top on election night with 10.3 million viewers between 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern time on Tuesday, according to data.

Sharon Waxman, a former correspondent for The New York Times and founder of Hollywood news site The Wrap, argued that the media needs “a total rethink” after the election.

Chart Shows Election Night Major News Network Ratings

The 2024 election results were watched by more than 42 million people on cable news alone across the United States, according to figures released by Nielsen.

On November 5, Americans had a slew of cable news channels to choose from to watch the results roll in.

Per Deadline reporting on ratings recorded by Nielsen, the most watched channel was Fox News which pulled in 9.8 million viewers across America between 7 p.m. ET and 11 a.m. ET,
when it became clear that the race was most likely going to be won by Donald Trump.

This chart shows the ratings for eight major news networks on election night.

‘He will not forget’: Kevin Rudd’s past Trump remarks may cause ‘some problems’

Kevin Rudd Must Be Sacked As Ambassador!

Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer has suggested that Australia’s US Ambassador Kevin Rudd will have “some problems” after his past controversial remarks about Donald Trump resurfaced.
“Mr Rudd is going to have some problems – Donald Trump doesn’t forget these kinds of comments,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“He will not forget, and my advice to both the Australian’s and the UK government is to think about how you want that relationship to go going forward. It might be smart to sub them out if you will.”

Australias Prime Minister has already declared full confidence in Rudd and has no plans to move him on.

That this narcissistic prick has been voted in TWICE in the USA only shows how ****ed up the people there really are imho

Australias Prime Minister has already declared full confidence in Rudd and has no plans to move him on.

Did he already?
Where?

LATIKA M BOURKE: Australia, we have a Kevin Rudd problem and Donald Trump won’t let us forget it anytime soon

Australian Ambassador to US Rudd Deletes Posts Critical of Trump

PM must decide whether Kevin Rudd is ‘capable’ of handling Australia-US relations

The point: the election of Trump has had an effect for Australia to even have some concern and a discussion about it.

At the end of the day, I'm sure Trump will survive the fact that Rudd has been critical of him in the past.

At the end of the day, I'm sure Trump will survive the fact that Rudd has been critical of him in the past.
At the end of the day I'm pretty sure ALL of us will survive.

That would be, of course, until the end of OUR days.;)

Australias Prime Minister has already declared full confidence in Rudd and has no plans to move him on.

It's the DEPUTY Prime Minister who has responded.

It's a no-brainer.
Rudd had given such offensive insults to Trump. There's no walking that back.

Lol - Trump will be in the White House on january.
They have to make a decision.

Right now - it's all just posturing with these Australians.
Like, "we can't be pushed," kinda stance.

I'd say............................eventually they'll get another ambassador to the US. :)

They'll just have to choose which is more important: Kevin Rudd or a smooth relationship with the USA. 🤷

Why on earth must a President endure the presence of a man who called him nasty names?

Lara Trump wouldn't make this kind of statement if Rudd wouldn't be a "deal-breaker." :)
Rudd's fate is already sealed.
Send him somewhere else.

Senior Trump advisor and former White House deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino posted an hourglass to Mr Rudd’s social media in an apparent warning his days may be numbered.

Labor leaders, including Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles, have continued to back Australian Ambassador to the United States Kevin Rudd despite concerns over his tenability.

Mr Rudd has come under intense scrutiny over his comments about President-elect Donald Trump including calling the US leader a “traitor to the West” and “village idiot”.

These past statements have resurfaced amid growing tensions between Mr Rudd and the incoming Trump administration as some figures suggested his tenure may be in jeopardy.

The President-elect’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump also warned in November it would be “hard” for a person who criticised her father to hold the ambassador position.

“It's kind of hard to have a position like that where you'd want to keep someone who said such nasty things about a person,” she told Sky News host Erin Molan.

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

How she did it wrong?

She was never the Biden Border Czar so there was no "did it wrong".

You are funny.
Parroting the false campaign talking point that Harris was never border czar is just another denial of responsibility for the crisis. Even if we temporarily set aside Biden’s appointment of Princess Kamala as responsible for the border, that means the regime ignored the worsening crisis at the border for 3 1/2 years.

It's the DEPUTY Prime Minister who has responded.

It was the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister.

"Still, both Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Foreign Minister Penny Wong have declared full confidence in Mr Rudd and say they have no plans to move him on."

No, he doesn't have to go. Trump has recently appointed a man, JD Vance, who actually equated him to Hitler as his VP.

Now you are going to have a cry because an Australian said something about Trump years ago?

Classic.

Thanks for that site.

That was in Nov 7.
That would be most likely "posturing" statement from them.

Shall we put a deadline?
Like by February of next year - he's gone.

We'll see.

American Presidents do not enjoy laesa māiestās/lèse-majesté. They are citizens and no more. Insulting Donald Trump is no worse then a cartoon of John Bull farting on King George III drawn by Newton at the end of the 18th Century. Trump is not a king yet and Rudd was well within his rights to level criticisms at the would-be Mad King Don I of America

Be well, be wise and be wary.

I'm surprised that CNN is laying people off now that they have Trump to criticize 24/7 again.
