The very first female Chief of Staff in U.S. History - and the DEMOCRATS...

No
Not at all, just how your warped sense of reality sees my comment.
Biden specifically said he would ONLY consider a woman, and of color.
By definition - that is what everyone calls a "DEI hire". Hired specifically for their race/gender whatever.
Trump made no proclamation. He simply hired someone who, he believes, is great for the job - WHO HAPPENS TO BE a woman.

Not the same thing at all.
Not that you would even begin to admit it.

The best attempt to thread the needle and still play identity politics I've see so far, keep up the good work.

It's funny as shit how the liberals here on Debate Politics can make all the inane threads they like. They get lots of likes from their cohorts on here while they are acting act smug as hell. 🤣 🤣

Then they go into a complete meltdown when some "Con" throws up a similar thread.:cry::cry:

Limbaugh was right............liberalism is a sickness.

"Meltdown" ===> doesn't kiss MAGA rear and and blindly agree. Sometimes we even disagree. MELTDOWN!!! MAGA!!!!

Could care less.
A barrier broken, and not a Democrat is to be found caring about it whatsoever.
If this was Biden, or Obama - they would lead with such a story and praise themselves for it being their party that breaks barriers.
But - she is a Republican.
Doesn't count
LOL!

This is a self-set-up, a self-own, a self-gotcha, right?

After all, the Democrats nominated "the very first female President" not once but twice...and Republicans "could care less".

Thanks for the laugh.

So …. I’m gathering that you think Chief of Staff is some kind of glass ceiling milestone for women? You do know that we’ve had much higher positions filled by women already. Right? Vice President. Secretary of State. Hell, we’ve even had countless generals and admirals in our military, a field, by shear numbers at least, that’s almost exclusively male. But for some reason you think Democrats should be celebrating the fact that Trump picked one as a glorified office manager - a pivot person for his White House circle jerk - when I don’t even see any Republicans crowing about this dubious achievement.

?? This alone can’t possibly be worthy of an OP!! What am I missing?

Well for one, the Chief of Staff is an exceptionally prominent position. I guess it is a matter of opinion for importance, but don't you dare try to minimize the position just because of politics.

Or .... what? What if I dare? Will you make a wax effigy of me, and stick pins in it?
😁
(OUCH! 🤣)

I'm not minimizing the position because of politics. I'm pointing out that even the Republicans themselves - at least the adult ones - know better than to crow about "the first woman Chief of Staff", because, as I pointed out, no glass ceiling has been broken by it!
