Biden’s warning, delivered on Wednesday, that democracy itself is on the ballot in that same spirit. They will have assumed that when the president said, “In our bones, we know democracy is at risk” it was so much campaign talk. But Biden was scarcely exaggerating.

More than 370 Republican candidates for some of America’s highest offices have joined Donald Trump in his big lie of election denial, either casting doubt on or wholly rejecting the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential result. That means a majority of Republicans running for those key positions refuse democracy’s most basic act: accepting the verdict of the voters.

This idiotic narrative making the rounds is about the most childish and hypocritical, it's beyond comparison. You do know that in 2016 the democrats were far, far, far worse in election denial, you make the right look like rookies....hell the violent left took to the streets and burned things to the ground, as they always do, i.e. the Summer of Love. You're beating a dead horse and look feeble minded in doing this, fyi.

Trump led a violent coup attempt on Jan. 6.

I really don't think the "End of Democracy" line is going to work for the Dems. They need something more realistic.

No he didn't.

If that were true, the DoJ would have indicted him. The fact that they haven't indicted is reason to believe theres no evidence of incitement on Trumps part.

Somebody incited the violence at the Capitol (obviously) but it wasn't Trump. Trump asked the rally-goers to be peaceful. (FACT)

Maybe, like they are coming for our kids.......nah, they already tried that one, too.....:ROFLMAO:

Trump told a visibly armed mob to march to the Capitol. (FACT).

Garland should be fired. The House showed all the evidence.
Most of the evidence was fabricated and circumstantial, and some of the evidence was hearsay.

None of these types of 'evidence' are admissible for indictment purposes. There will be no indictment(s) against Trump.

Others might be indicted, however.

For the first time in American History we didn't have a peaceful transfer of power.

The culprit was rampant disinformation about the election, mostly voting from. The losing candidate.

If that doesn't anger you and scare you, you are no patriot.

Discussing with one poster as he admitted he didn't say the words, but somehow he incited a coup/riot. Some will say he used code words...lol.

The riot was not the only thing aimed at subverting the Constituionally State certified elections. I suspect incitement of the crowd will be a small part of the full indictment. Garland has a grand jury impanelled right now and some pretty big players have been called to testify. Word is Garland is looking to appoint a special counsel for all things Trump should Trump declare his candidacy. The intent is to remove himself and the Administration from the equation. I think we may be closer to an indictment than many think.

With Glocks and AR-15's.

Irrelivent. Trump didn't pat down protesters or rioters prior to going to the Capitol. Don't remember any of them shooting anyone, except one of the Capitol police.
