The point is It's a catchy tweet by an old Star Trek actor turned semi activist that was shared with a lot of people.

Simple minded folks will try and dig deeper to see the profound meaning like this is the new Plato.

Why is it "catchy" that the woman was black or lesbian? Are black lesbians not allowed to be cops?

She's a professional who did her job and did it well. That should be all that matters.

These officers traveled with Scalese as part of his security detail and according to his aide were considered family by the Congressmen.

Takei and his ilk are toxic, miserable, low lifes are far as Im concerned that take any opportunity, even his near assasiantion to score political points and to malign the man.

Both if you buy into the myth that republicans hate blacks and gays. IMO A belief that many who shared this hold to a certain degree.

That is because most liberals on here have no idea about conservatives who hang out with democrat & conservative blacks, or go fishing, golfing, and shooting with blacks. They also believe that conservatives only buy guns to protect themselves from blacks, while the gun shows in my area have a huge black patronage.

They are idiots locked away in their dim views.
 
Because people that dont agree with gay marriage and have a religious opposition to homosexuality are hate filled homophobic bigots that should never be allowed in public office. Unless of course they are democrats which means they are caring thoughtful people who are working on an evolution of thought process and just waiting for the right (and necessary) occasion to enjoy a revelation...which will be 100% sincere and not at all born of political expediency.
 
I wonder if it dawns on stupid ****s like George T that daily, men and women working in the EMT, Fire Department, Law Enforcement, and medical fields bust their ass and often risk their own lives to save people they may not agree with, from different political ideologies to drug addicts to criminals, and yes, even to homosexuals and all manner of people on the LGBTQQAQAASRAAADA?NMNN7AB spectrum without regard to the political or sociological bent of said individuals.

Only thing I got from that was the black lesbian did her job without letting political activism stop her, including saving the lives of others, while george tried to use the tragedy to push a political agenda.

Were it me that black lesbian cop would get a medal and george called out for what he is.
