The Trump hater's new buzzword

I am gracing DP with my presence less and less these days. Many of the other conservative posters have been run off and left on their own volition. I advised some of them to just put the most irrational, annoying, snipers, juveniles on ignore but they had had quite enough of the juvenile taunts by posters who never really posted much of worth or value. Two more posters in the past two days have been ignored and they know who they are since their sniper posts that offer nothing are no longer responded to. This leaves me with more time and less having to deal with complete morons and idiots unworthy of my time.

It appears to me that the ratio here now of liberals to conservatives here is now 90 to 10, up from 80 to 20. That alone says something.

Yes. I agree. I am aware of 4 members who have done just that. I have yet to opt to move myself, because one gets used to things and can become "sedentary." But the option is there.

I wonder how the Left-leaning members will keep themselves entertained, when most of their targets are gone, and all they find is mind-numbing agreement with each other?

LMAO Snowflake. That is the first time I mentioned it. Show me a post where I whined about it before. I am merely pointing out the obvious now and now whining needed except by snowflakes, as usual. If all of DP eventually is filled with Trump haters, why would you care? The left would love it here.

Did you dislike Biden's administration or Biden himself, and if so, did you list every grievance as you added to them? Or did you focus on the most recent example that you felt was negatively impacting our country?

Double standard. Not enough balance with monitors. Without naming names a monitor here shows a lean of conservative. If he is, he is in the same league as Mitt Romney and Huntsinger. There are at least 3 posters who show a lean of conservative and their posts are indistinguishable from any leftist if you read it and didn't see their lean. It is a farce to contend that monitors are unbiased. They aren't. It's like saying the District Court judges who go after Trump are unbiased, the Democrats look for conservative Supreme Court justices or vice versa. I don't want to divulge what my occupation was, but it involved legal issues. When a suit was tendered, the company would try to steer it to a certain court. This is how the American legal system is used right now. Trump does something. The ACLU and DNC shops around for a judge they know. to file restraining orders. It is really juvenile to assert that judges and people aren't biased. We all are.

As for the reason for this 90-10 ratio now, I know of excellent posters who were banned, I heard from some who said they couldn't tolerate posters who hurled personal slurs and never got dinged, and conservative posters who were dinged for the slightest thing. It can be seen that many prominent conservatives have left here. It's no secret. They have gone on to other things and venues. They have told me why. I hope this is the answer you were looking for. I am a stoic and don't take anything personal even in my personal life. I use the ignore feature now. I have little time now for juvenile taunts.

Same story played out with Brexit. Winning and the gloating therefrom wasn't enough to make them happy and the bad news (which was slow-motion compared to Trump 2) made them very liverish. A dive through the Brexit threads will throw up many heroes who flamed out all too soon.

Just for the record, overtures have been made by members who were prominent here and left. My life situation has changed with the purchase of a house that needs lots of outside work, and summer is near, so my posting time will be diminished anyway.

Yeah, it's odd considering some of the very posters whinging about the current state of affairs were the very same ones with the "Let's Go Brandon" and complaints about Biden. I don't recall is an exodus of liberal/Democratic posters fleeing as a result.

I try to remain respectful towards people when I post. I may make an occasional joke, but it's not intended to be insulting but to instead point out irony in statements. I was drawn here by a friend of mine who was a supporter of President Trump. I wish I knew how he would react to the current administration, but he passed away late last year.

As far as some of what you brought up, I read some of my friend's last posts here. He was speaking to issues that personally impacted him and was spoken to by some members of this community in a way that was extremely disrespectful. I do not necessarily blame the people who posted what they did since they did not know his situation, but I have considered reaching out to them to shed light on how we as members of this community speak to each other and the impact it may have when ignorant of other people's lives outside this forum.

Back to my time here: my friend and I did not agree on how the President was handling things in his first administration, but we were always respectful towards each other's views. I am probably a little more jaded with the current administration because I perceive many of their actions to lack proper planning and foresight into potential consequences. I also have seen those actions negatively impact people I care about in my life. That still does not mean I should go off the rails, so I would hope if someone sees me post something that crosses a line, I would be told so directly.

Anyway, enough derailing of this thread. I wouldn't want to add to the chaos. ;)

We have thicker skin and are used to conservative blathering about how awful we are. Today you see conservatives yearning for safe spaces.

This thread is just funny though. Calling what Trump is doing "chaos" is practically a compliment to both his style and effectiveness.
