The ten best steakhouses in the world (1 Viewer)

I was lucky enough to go to Manny's a few years back, and l was lucky because I was the guest of someone else and I didn't have to pay.

My favorite steakhouses that I've eaten at numerous times, and had to pay for myself, are: Bern's Steak House in Tampa, Florida, Bones Restaurant in Atlanta, and then there's Charlie's Steak House in Tampa that's part of a group of restaurants but still has a unique flavor. There are others I like that have multiple locations, such as Morton's and Ruth's Chris but they don't have the unique flavor and atmosphere that the three I listed first do.

I do love me some steak, though.

A place called Rural Society in Washington DC is one of my favorites

Wood grilled beef, incredible ambiance and food.

Prices are average for D.C....meaning bring your plastic

But a real nice place for a real nice meal

Of that list Ive only eaten at Peter Lugers and man, is their steaks good.

I've been to Carnevino and St. Anselm, and they're pretty damn good.

But the Metropolitan Grill in Seattle is at least as good.

Best steak I've ever had was in Italy at some farmhouse style place near Montepulciano. The cut is what we would call a Porterhouse and it comes from the Chianina breed. It was cooked over a wood fire with just a little S&P. I don't know what they were feeding that steer but it must have been nectar of the gods.
