The tax increases of the Reid plan on ObamaCare

See? You're a waste of time. Bye.

I'm stll waiting for you to explain to us how that 40% excise tax isn't going to be passed on to the consumer. I guess we'll be waiting for the Libbos to explain that one to us for a very long time.

The tax will discourage insurers from offering plans above that level so they don't have to pay the tax. That's how. But if they do, the consumers at the level of income that has a plan like that can afford it.

LOL...what quality of coverage do you expect to get with an $8,000 policy? I mean, really, what kind?

The policy that I pay $285.00 a month for has three times as much coverage and it isn't even a major medical policy. So, now, with this BS bill, I'm going to expect to pay 40% more, per month.

Once again, the 8,000 is the PREMIUM cost, not the coverage. You are going to have to get way past $285 a month to get to $8,000 a year (hint, it's $667 a month).

From the OP:

40% excise tax on health coverage in excess of $8,500 (individuals) / $23,000 (families).

It says nothing about premiums.
