The Supreme Court has denied Texas' last-ditch effort to overturn the election results in four battleground states that voted for Joe Biden.

I read today that she's busy shipping furniture and other personal possessions to FL.

They better have someone checking every one of those boxes....
Don't laugh. Some fear Trump could sell state secrets . . .

No "butthurt". Just expect completely fair play. I'm very ready to switch roles.
We tried 'fair play'. Many of your fellow supporters & politicos just proved they aren't deserved, as they continue to abuse our electoral & legal systems.

The two house are both required to meet by law. But now I think there is little reason for her to avoid it since it is a simple majority vote rather than the state by state vote I was afraid of.

Where does the Constitution state that the House must gavel into session if it is out of session?

Don't worry, I don't think Trump or most Republicans will consider him a loser. In fact, I'm quite confident that won't be the case.
So Trump really won but the election was stolen due to massive fraud involving several states, 2 to 5 foreign countries, and 4 Republican legislatures. All this happened without leaving a trace of evidence that could be presented in court. Sure thing. You believe it. Trump believes it. The stooges believe it. The rest of don't and we outnumber you. Cling to your fantasies and we'll all get on with our lives.

Yeah, time to think about what the Bidens will be moving into the White House. It's going to be fun!
Well they've already said they'd be disinfecting...I'm sure an exterminator will be needed as well.

This is what happens when the spitefully lowbrow pout....they take out their anger on others. What's amazing is that their followers will support that petulant juvenile behavior 🤔

So, Republican House member Mo Brooks has already said he will be objecting to the electoral votes. He has an interesting take on how it would work. I'm not saying he's right, but I think this will be the Republican resistance strategy going forward.:

Addressing what many consider the remote chances of success, Mr. Brooks said, “A lot depends on how much gumption Republicans have to protect the integrity of America’s election system.”

Democrats will retain the House majority in January, making Mr. Brooks‘ effort seemingly out of reach. But the lawmaker said an interpretation of the 12th Amendment’s provisions for congressional certification of the election could favor Mr. Trump because more state legislatures are controlled by Republicans.

The 12th Amendment says that “the votes shall be taken by states.” Mr. Brooks said the question is whether the states, or their representatives in Congress, should be given the votes.

“It is a majority of the states that govern the election of the president,” he said. “Republicans control 27 state delegations, Democrats control 20, and three are tied.”

He said the question is in “uncharted waters” and suggested that Republicans could petition the Supreme Court to settle it.

“You’ve got the Republican Party controlling a significant majority of the states while the Democrat Party controls the majority of the House membership,” Mr. Brooks said. “So this would be the first time that I’m aware of that you actually have a conflict between the two possible methodologies that needs to be resolved.”

So it looks like SCOTUS might have to have a say in this after all. At least one Senator needs to be on board and even if it does go to a state by state vote, that doesn't mean that Republicans will overturn the election

Electoral college representatives are not bound by law to abide by the results.
Actually SCOTUS ruled this year:

Washington, 591 U.S. ___ (2020), was a United States Supreme Court case on the issue of "faithless electors" in the Electoral College stemming from the 2016 United States presidential election where the Court ruled unanimously that states have the ability to enforce an elector's pledge in presidential elections.

Dont worry, we are well aware the delusions wont disappear any time soon.

However that doesnt affect reality.
Whether or not you or I think they are delusions is irrelevant. It's now Biden time!

Oh, in that scenario, there’s no way the Democrat controlled House doesn’t certify the EC.
I agree. Although some Republicans think that things aren't that simple. I don't pretend to know what legal ground they are on, but they seem to be ready to take it to SCOTUS yet again to try and work around the Democratic House majority.

Not for one second of the last four years did the left try fair play.

The next plan for Trump will be to petition the military commanders to help him "save the Constitution"

I was speaking to the current electoral situation. Did I misunderstood the context of your comment? If so, that was not my attention.

(I could use bigger words, but I doubt it would have any better effect.)
