The secret report that helps Israelis to hide facts

Interesting, only if you start from the premise that Israel acts like no other nation in the World and is uniquely altruistic.

Well in this case it is Israel, but I suspect that most major nations and/or political parties have such reports that guide them in the never ending propaganda war to win the hearts and minds of their respective flocks. It is rare that we actually get to peak behind the door to see how "they" (depending on the situation) are taught to manipulate us as much as possible to favor their point of view over that of the opposition.

Which is what makes this document pretty unremarkable to me; if it didn't exist I would be more surprised.

We should not expect any more from Israel than we would expect from our own politicians, unfortunately, it seems like a lot of people have low expectations in both cases.

Israel-Gaza conflict: The secret report that helps Israelis to hide facts - Comment - Voices - The Independent

A very interesting read and puts the official words coming out of Israel into perspective..

I'm wondering where the piece of trash who wrote that article gets stuff like "Israel doesn't really want a 2 state solution", and "Israel doesn't want peace." Is that what passes for wisdom among the Jew hating left these days? Also, Israel defending the lives of their citizens by keeping terrorists out is an "economic siege".

The article does explain the mystery of how it is that evil child killing Jews can sound like human beings when they talk. That must have been a great source of confusion for the left wingers. But now we have the answer -- they received a secret briefing from a Republican strategist.

There are no fools like Jew hating fools.

He got it from the report.. it clearly states that.

Why bring Jews into this? Not one place in the article is "Jew" mentioned.. but I am guessing that the report that is mentioned clearly states for the loyalists to push the religious aspect when losing a debate.

No, the idea that Israel doesn't want peace and that keeping terrorists out of Israel amounts to an economic siege came from the author of the article, not from the report.

And the idea that this is not about hating Jews is pure BS.

Who, on this planet, hates any Semitic people, Jews or Arabs?

Fill us in.

that is more word play. Since anti-semitism has come to mean anti-Jewish some people play with the fact that Arabs are semites. It is sad really.

Now to the OP:
The article is borderline anti-semitism and frankly so full of hate and lies posting it should be a violation of the rules. But I have noticed you can go a long way in attacking Israel in the press. A press that others say are controlled by Jews.

Ignorance seems to be the coin of the realm.

Huh?

I don't know if what Sababa was saying was correct, that you were just playing around with the literal meaning of "semitic," or if you were doubting that there was hatred against Arabas or Jews. Yeah, I know, the first is more likely, but there's also crazy people on DP and you don't really know anyone.

Hate is a word that a lot of people throw around in connection with Arabs and Jews.

No, read the article again.

And the idea that this is not about hating Jews is pure BS.

It is not about hating Jews, and never has been. Bringing it into the discussion is and has been a clear tactic by Israel and apologists like you and it is done in order to shut down debate and garner sympathy.

I would find it odd that the extreme far right, which Jewish watch groups are concerned about, would be supporting Palestinian autonomy but hey, there probably is some bizarre connection. I tend to agree with you that, in general, this 'Jew hating' and 'Antisemite' card is a rather cheap way of closing down any debate that criticises Israel rather than any real concern for Jewish well being in a World that can definitely be hostile to Jews and their identity; I sense that this blunt tool is starting to lose it's intended effect.

Not sure how I missed your posting this thread yesterday when I posted mine this morning on Israel Project 2009. Anyway, for those that would like to read the leaked document, you can find it here as a PDF. The Israeli's have dubbed this, "Global Language," or how to define and describe their actions to the world, but especially the television viewing audience in America.

are you suggesting that the Israel Project is somehow evil That Israel shouldn't do PR?
