The rest of the world is laughing at us

No, they're laughing at you. Even if you limit it to only gun-related deaths, we aren't in the top 10. They're also laughing at the implication that crime committed with a gun is somehow more heinous than any other crime. And for the record, when you look at overall crime rates, we aren't even in the top 100. Put that in your pompous pipe and smoke it.

The bold part should have said, "murder rates." In overall crime we're around 22nd. Of course in overall crime rates, we're still way behind the gun control mecca of the UK. In fact, we're behind much of western Europe.
