To all foreign netizens reading this:

Not all American people are rude and stupid. Just the ones from the south.

The rest of our great nation is ashamed of the south. They are the ones who homeschool their children to prevent them from actually learning anything about geography or foreign cultures. They are the ones whose culture praises disrespect and hate towards anybody not white or American. They are the ones who think Murica' is the best nation on earth, and everyone else can suck it.

The rest of us Americans, from civilized places like New York or California, do not deserve to be lumped in to the stereotypes of Americans caused by those rednecks. We are well educated, progressive, forward mined scientific thinkers who respect and admire foreign success, and want to emulate it here in the states.

We do not have a culture of selfishness or obnoxiousness like the rednecks in Dixie do. We are polite, and very welcoming to people of all races and creeds. When we travel abroad, we make every effort to respect local cultures. This is in direct contrast to the uneducated gun nut hicks like amanda Knox who can't even control their murderous impulses overseas.

Please, remember, when making stereotypes of Americans, remember that the polite, generous, welcoming, progressive people of the civilized cities do not deserved to be lumped in with the boorish, disrespectful culture of our south and wild west.

Nice first post. Way to jump in firing both barrels.

...all that wild generalisation, gross stereotyping and mindless insulting of great, undefined swathes of humanity just as well as any boorish redneck you're likely to meet.

Thank you for your understanding.
