I already have as have others, and it is basically the same thing just about everyone else with an IQ above their shoe size has confirmed. There was a surplus for the named years, it is unfortunate you cannot accept facts.
Then that would be less than 9.3 trillion Obama created! Do you support the Trump budget proposal?

You are smarter than this. Obama was handed a $1.4 trillion deficit from W and due to TARP.
Under Obama we were faced with the worst recession since the great depression.
Under the right (GOP) it was pure greed and venality for two tax cuts and two wars..what a deal.
With W and trump, they inherited good economies, borrow more trillion$ from our kids and for what ?
G r e e d and avarice.

Why do you have a Conservative lean and post left wing lies and distortions? Post 104 is right on and there isn't a conservative I know that believes any deficit was handed to Obama because there was NO BUDGET APPROVED and we were operating under Continuing resolutions based upon 2008 numbers. You seem to be easily swayed by the left's rhetoric and call yourself a conservative.
Reminder, fiscal year of the U.S. runs from October to September and TARP was a LOAN that the banks repaid with INTEREST.
You claim that Trump inherited a good economy? What was the GDP Trump inherited that made it a good economy by even your standards? Already pointed out that i 2018 GDP growth is up 2 trillion dollars through 1 year and 9 months and consumer spending up over a trillion dollars for three months of 2018 vs the entire 2016. How do you reconcile official numbers with your statements?
You have a tedency to call all honest conservatives liars. Just accept the fact there are non biased conservatives like me.
Liberals never address the posts and always divert from them which is what you just did. Respond to what I posted and the data presented
Irony, you telling others about intention to divert from facts.
Do you even know what a fact is? You think media reports are facts? How about Bureau of Labor Statistics, Bureau of Economic Analysis, Treasury, Census?? Try posting some facts for a change instead of your own personal opinions
None of those sources proves your claims.
And after me posting the official data over and over again from those sites you make that claim. LOL, what credibility do you have compared to BLS.gov, BEA.gov, Treasury.org or the Census bureau?
It is not the stats you are posting, it is your complete lack of understanding on what they all mean.
Seems pretty simple to understand except to a liberal who wants to make the simple complex. The title of this thread is accurate as the data shows. Clinton added 1.4 trillion to the debt and all those so called surpluses were either projected surpluses or didn't occur making the claims of a surplus a MYTH!
Yet you consistently do not understand, the above post proving as much.
