The Federal Election Commission (FEC) recently published investigation documents showing that Representative Maxine Waters’ 2020 campaign committee, Citizens for Waters, understated contributions and spending by hundreds of thousands of dollars. The Waters campaign has agreed to pay the fine and “send its treasurer to a commission sponsored training program for political committees."

Back in 2010, he House Ethics Committee formally accused Rep. Maxine Waters of violating conflict of interest rules, alleging she was securing bailout funds for a bank in which her husband owned stock.

The Citizens For Responsibility and Ethics in Washington labeled Rep. Maxine Waters as "the most corrupt member in Congress' during the years of 2005, 2006, 2009, and 2011.

Congresswoman Waters has been in office for nearly three decades and her reputation as a Congresswoman is abysmal. I have the misfortune of residing in California's 43rd Congressional District held by Waters. Since 2011, I have written to Rep. Waters three times - once (typed) via snail mail, and twice via e-mail. Not once did she respond to the issues of my letters directly. I'm certain that Rep. Waters never actually read any of my letters - her lackeys undoubtedly round-filed them, and sent me the obligatory

"To whom it may concern: Thank you for contacting Representative Waters. Ms. Waters is the best member to ever to grace the Halls of Congress, and she's working hard . . . blah . . . blah. . . blah. . . . ." LOL

The problem is that most of Waters' constituents know how corrupt she is, BUT THEY JUST DON'T CARE.

Waters should be primaried. She's a disgrace.

She's still alive? I thought she passed after an absence. Maybe that was another way too old congress critter.

I hope you didn't vote for Trump, because then you don't have grounds for an opinion.

Isn't the ethics committe balanced R/D? Or am I thinking of another one?

She's one of those politicians who are "in it for the money", and that's it. Corrupt so bad, it's hard to even imagine people still vote for her, lol. As long as she's there, the money's flowing her way and she's gonna take as much as possible by any means possible. The kind the DNC loves, because they know she'll vote the way they want/tell her......and as long as the money rolls her way, she's fine with it.

You talking about Waters or Trump?

This is so ironic - someone at your level telling me that I don't have grounds for an opinion.

Trump has nothing to do with Rep. Maxine Waters' corruption, still you feel compelled to mention Trump with the intent to divert attention away from the habitual corruption of Congresswoman Maxine Waters. It reveals a lot about you, and your inability to use logic and reasoning when formulating a position or opinion.

My opinion is based on historical facts, logic, and my personal experience dealing with Rep. Waters. Your opinion is based on the ButwhataboutTrump nonsense, and has zero merit.

Waters has a new wig. She’s good for another 4 years.

Have you heard of Trump?
Last time I checked he was still a convicted felon and an adulterer.
Do I need to say it? When in a glass house and all that...
But, lets look at Waters. I don't like her. If she is guilty of something, lets investigate, put her on trial and, if convicted, punish her according to the law.
That brings me back to the convicted felon.
I hope you realize that you shouldn't throw stones.
