The more I think he's kinda the new Improved Bernie. At this point, he has a lot to learn to catch up and he's not as progressive, but I really think this is a guy who could really make a stir and attact people on all sides. I really think he's the kind of guy to lead us back to the age of being able to reach across the aisle and get things done. IDK if he can get the exposure and momentum to build a winner campaign, but I sure do believe in him as the kind of leader we need.

So far, so many great choices, but between Ojeda, Bernie and Liz Warren, we have some dedicated and amazing progressive candidates with a lot of fight in them!

Love this guy, and he's easily my second choice thus far if Bernie doesn't run or backs out for whatever reason. Good policies, earnest and forthright, replete with charisma and fire, doesn't take corporate cash and passes important progressive litmus tests despite being a little more to the right. Combine that with his stellar performance in the most hostile riding in the country with votation gains that were unsurpassed during the mid terms (32 points gained in West Virginia), and the fact that he's a 24 year veteran and you have a bona fide winner.

I think he's the kind of guy who could start saving the deep red states from deep redness. I really see Richard Ojeda as a rising star in the party. Really think he's gonna make a difference even if not as president. He'll make hius mark somewhwere.

Of all the Dem politicos who have announced or are likely to announce, I do think he has indeed by far the best shot of making in-roads with Trump supporters, conservatives and the deep red states in general.
