The "Monster of Avignon" gets max French sentence, but is this enough?

Miss Pelicot is a very brave lady to waive her her right to privacy, her family should be very proud of her achievement.

She has turned what is a horrific and traumatic episode in her life into something positive for all victims of sexual abuse.
This. (y)

She has been quoted as saying that the victim should not feel shame, the rapist should. What happened to her was nothing less than horrible. Glad she appears to be moving beyond it.

For those not keeping up with this trial and the amazing courage of rape victim Gisele Pelicot, her husband drugged her for years and invited men to have sex with her while she was unconscious and photographed and filmed it all. She faced them all down in court day after day, and her husband had 50 co-defendents. (And there were at least 20 more who have escaped justice). Is a max sentence of 20 years for this depraved pig of a man enough? Is 4 years enough for the other rapists?

Life without parole would be a better sentence.
