The lottery and social despair in America

To me it seems the harder people work in our economy the less you are compensated. You have to work "smart" vs. hard.

ding ding ding....we have a winner

smarter vs harder has been working for a lot of years

my pop worked 3x harder physically than i have ever worked

he earned every nickel the "hard" way

he and my grandpa made sure that us kids knew that wasnt the "preferred" method of making a living anymore

he told us there were better and easier ways than breaking your backs everyday

they both stressed education, but more important than the sheepskin or the diploma, he said was the skillset

make sure you learn to make yourself valuable in MANY ways they told us

same thing i have taught my kids now

and be willing to adapt....because things will change
