I won't wonder at all. Not even slightly. I'm well aware of the medias power and the type of political gambits the establishment is willing to resort to in order to consolidate and hold onto power. Not only do I except them to lie, cheat and steal to win. I fully expect them to unleash severe repercussions on people should they lose. There's nothing mysterious about them. The only significant variable in this equation is how many people are willing to make a stand and join in a united front against totalitarianism. That will be the sole factor that determines the outcome of the election.

I think ultimately the results of the 2024 election will end up being Biden re-elected, Dems flip house, GOP flips senate. But then again a lot can happen in the next year.

I'd rather have the senate than the house though, cause judges. Biden and Schumer have done an excellent job with them since 2021.

I think it is way beyond potential, it's a given. I also think Manchin will decide not to run. Not necessarily because he is interested in running for No Labels, although that's a potential, but because he knows he will lose badly in WV so why go out that way after such a long career in WV politics?

The map is severely against the Democrats, even worse than against the Republicans in 2022. Look what the Democrats did with that in a down year. I would be very surprised if Republicans came away with fewer than two pickups.

Yeah, I thought it was a good potential pickup even before Justice entered the race. But once he did, I think his entrance made it extremely likely.

Should the GOP take over the Senate, I wonder who the majority leader would be now that McConnell has his health issues. Thune maybe?

It's telling that you call standing up for and acting in the best interests of the people they represent, "dumb shit". I call it them doing their job. It's becoming clear which party is more representative of the rich. (hint it isn't the Republicans)

More to the point, they have maintained the unit cohesion needed to make a major change.

After the Red Wave failure in the Midterms because of the Trump-touted fruitcakes (and the current problem with clods like Gaetz and MTG), the RNC will take a more active role in seeing that the loons don't get propped up.

If Alex Mooney wins the R nomination, polls show Manchin will beat him handily. I haven't seen any polling between Mooney and Justice.
