Over the past few weeks the left is finally getting on the offensive. It seems that Quarantine has shifted the election's momentum and even if Biden may not be some loud leftists first choice, they have realized that he is far better than Trump! He's tied or leading Trump in surprising states like Utah.
Let's go over how the right is losing their minds and probably the election:
1. Tara Reade's allegations are nothing. Reade a proven liar is now getting her entire record very visibly investigated by various officials who have worked on cases with her. She has been found to be a very untruthful person at many times and lying under oath which still matters if your profession is that of an "expert witness".
2. The Biden ad seen around the world, directly criticized Trump for going golfing over the weekend as 100,000 Americans died of a pandemic. Trump previously stated he'd be too busy to golf at any time during his presidency and relentlessly criticized both Obama and Biden for doing so.
3. Anti-mask wearing campaigns from various far right social media "Karens" have exposed self-entitled white women and probably shunned them for an entire generation or more. You can tell a lot about these types of people just from a few choice words. A lot of the videos that have been gaining media attention featured half-truths, racial slurs, and full tinfoil hat conspiracy theories straight from Qs basement because these people just couldn't STAY HOME!
4. Earlier in the month Trump tweeted his disdain for Fox News about how they were NOT helping him win the election. I could make a point that no other President has so publicly aligned himself with a media organization before, but that point now is moot. Fox News' hard journalism afternoon lineup is no longer defending Trump. Directly questioning things he supports on their airwaves. Even Sean Hannity is tell his viewers to stay home and wear a mask! Trump's allies are few remaining yet remain vigilant, even as he kills them. That's not a good re-election campaign.
5. As the Coronavirus leaves headlines, and the country reopens the right has tried and sometimes succeeded in ways to politicize this process. Not wearing a mask can now be a (dumb) political statement but as we move on from the virus other issues are coming back into the limelight. The killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis has brought the city to an even more standstill and riots are breaking out. Highlighting a campaign issue the Biden campaign would be wise to adapt. Do something about police brutality. Trump and the right wing are complaining simultaneously, i might add, that the left are both too weak and cowardly to do anything, but then that riots are against the very fabric of society. Both of these arguments are so obviously untrue it's amazing they still have an audience that listens to them. It's showing how deliciously uncomfortable the right is about talking about this issue and how fake their faux outrage really is.
6. It was revealed in a new documentary that Jane Roe, on her deathbed all but admitted that the entire anti-abortion movement on the right is...fake news! She was paid to say the things she did, by conservative operative groups!
7. Upon continuing his nonsensical attacks on MSNBC host Joe Scarborough, Trump is getting no love from his allies, even angering "God," himself. The God account on twitter created a series of just as "plausible" events about Trump killing his assistant the tweet begins: "Donald Trump killed his personal assistant, Carolyn Gombell, in October 2000...." God has six million followers and was able to successfully make #JusticeforCarolyn trend nationwide. There's also a girl doing tiktok videos mocking Trumps speeches who gets millions of views for each video. Twitter for the first time is fact checking Trump's tweets.
As the left awaits Biden's VP choice, they aren't standing still.
