Lame is a good word for it... like... wtf? I thought you are supposed to be a little more subtle than that... I get it, you like hillary and you want to feed the strawman of Donald Trump, but...
it's a comedy show...
Yeah that was a misfire both as humor and sincerity.
Yes. That was a nice gesture for the composer. Why'd they have the Hillary character do it?Honoring the death of a legendary musician by playing his most recognizable song was a nice gesture. If you disliked it, so be it. She did a fine performance.

See below.
It's a political venue, masquerading as a comedy show.....always has been. It leans way Left, with no real pretense of being fair.
I stopped watching it years ago, I don't need to see anymore liberal brainwashing.
The Lefty lemmings....eat it up.

Wow.
"The uploader has not made this video available in your country."
Apparently, whatever it is it's too strong for my tender, naive Canadian sensibilities.
edit- I'm probably not missing much. SNL has been a bit of a disappointment this election season. Though Alec Baldwin did look kinda funny under that wig.

That's weird. I'm pretty sure Leonard Cohen was Canadian.
Yeah, no one ever does comedy about politics.

It was more than that.
Very fine, and a touching expression of the loss mixed with commitment that so many of us feel, and you can bet they feel at SNL.
It might have been if that musician hadnt asked people to stop covering that song because it was done too much. Theres nothing like tribute to a guy by ignoring what he would have wanted.
