Yes it is if the mere fact that it's newsworthy is because the murder was caught on camera as you stated. That is literally the ONLY thing differentiating this murder from the other 50 that happened that same day.
The murder happened several weeks ago. Even after video was released, no story. Oblivious or complicit? Same result. Really sad that a random unprovoked murder is not significant.
Some people are too crazy to be on the streets. They will hurt themselves or others. Completely disconnected from reality. Some need in-house care to get better.
