I won’t bother linking you to the first amendment.
The story of Hunter’s grifting is not the big story:
There are other more troubling issues. ABC news has had this info since early 2019 and sat on it, and it took a half blind computer repairman in a dingy shop to do what our FBI wouldn’t do. Instead, the FBI destroyed the laptop.
IMO, the most chilling aspect of the entire thing is the assault on free speech and the flow of information. This should be the biggest issue to anyone who values a (mostly) uniquely American right. The “media” and tech pretty much in your face closed ranks on distributing the story because it hurts their candidate. How can anyone exercising their free speech here just shrug this off as it is happening in real time the bigger world?
We used to be a “Hey **** off, buddy! I have a right to know!” culture. Has our demand for freedom of speech been bred out of us?

News outlets and social media aren't under any obligation to assist in the spread of obvious disinformation.I won’t bother linking you to the first amendment.

It shows the trumpists' desperation. Their unmasking "scandal" failed so now they're losing their shit because no fake October surprise can save them.Hunter isn't running for president.
He isn't running for anything as far as I know.
I won’t bother linking you to the first amendment.

How Twitter and Facebook’s attempt to squelch a dubious Biden story backfired
Such actions can only call attention to how lopsided and largely unaccountable the left’s own power is in the cultural sphere.
Oh look, another Trumpist pretending to care about the constitution without knowing what the **** he's running his mouth about.
The 1st Amd. protects against government action against private individuals based on the content of their speech, and to a much lesser extent, against time and place restrictions.
The 1st Amd. is not a right for lying Trumpists to force private companies to disseminate their hoaxes.
lol. Trumpists being poutraged that a private company didn't assist them in spreading Russian disinfo is not "backfiring". Then again, you're the guy who started the thread insisting that the fact of one journalist bitching that the NYT didn't want to cover his stuff anymore was actually the NYT "imploding". . .
So sick of listening to righties whine and moan that left-lean media won't carry their anti-left agenda for them.
Says the guy pushing a story from a convicted felon. Are you still pushing an imaginary Russian hoax and pee tape too?
That darn Rupert Murdoch's and his liberal media empireHow Twitter and Facebook’s attempt to squelch a dubious Biden story backfired

Rupert Murdoch has nothing to do with it.That darn Rupert Murdoch's and his liberal media empire
Yes, and . . . ?His media empire has the most popular cable news, the WSJ, Marketwatch the NYPost. His has/had the large media empire, and very conservative. The other large media companies are far more widely owned and less controlled directed by one person. Disney for example is not a large pusher of liberal ideals, just a company out to make money
And what?Yes, and . . . ?
I believe you missed the point of my #6.And what?
You are smart enough to be able to make informed and honest decisions about actual facts
Certainly notI believe you missed the point of my #6.
I won’t bother linking you to the first amendment.

". . . What it does represent is something the right has becoming keenly alive to: the left’s exercise of power over cultural spaces where right-wingers are being driven toward extinction. That power isn’t new, of course, but for a long time, its practical effect was mostly a matter of focus, or at worst, as social psychologist Jonathan Haidt puts it, asking “Can I believe it?” about narratives that flattered left-wing views, and “Must I believe it?” about those that favored the right. . . . "Certainly not
Another complaint on how powerful the left/liberals are when it comes to the media.
Despite not owning or controlling the major media outlets and producers
Fox News, WSJ, Market Watch, NY Post, Washington Times, Disney and ABC, talk radio being dominated by conservative groups". . . And none of those match Google, Facebook or Twitter as gateways to the public space.Fox News, WSJ, Market Watch, NY Post, Washington Times, Disney and ABC, talk radio being dominated by conservative groups
Yep, those darn liberal socialist have control over the US media. Why Democracy Now and Common Dreams are the most watched and most influential media outlets in the US. The WSJ pales in comparison

Using your political office for personal gain is a crime. Dude, get a ****ing clue. Joe Biden did just that, and the media and other are trying to stifle discussion and publishing that facts of this crime to benefit Hunter and the Biden family in general.Hunter isn't running for president.
