,” said Clinton in the interview.I never seriously considered a single payer system
You have to read this one.
“What voters find slick in Bill Clinton, they find ruthless in Hillary.”
“HRC insists, no matter what people say, it was gross inappropriate behavior but it was consensual (was not a power relationship) and was not sex within any real meaning (standup, liedown, oral, etc.) of the term.”
“At dinner, [Hillary] to [Bill] at length on the complexities of health care—thinks managed competition a crock; single-payer necessary; maybe add to Medicare,”
In an interview with the New York Times as she ran for president in 2008, Hillary Clinton said she had never seriously considered adopting a single-payer system, in which the government, using funds appropriated from taxpayers, pays for all health care expenses.
“You know, I have thought about this, as you might guess, for 15 years and,” said Clinton in the interview.

Anyone who wants to dismiss the Monica factor vis-a-vis Hillary should read it for what it says about HRC.

I dont think there is anything 'new' but I do think the reality regarding her continued attacks against the victims of her husband should and will be brought to light. Its one thing to ignore the repeated affairs...but to ignore the allegations of rape and sexual assault and in fact disparage the victims in those situations? To disparage the victims of sexual assault committed by a senator solely because you want his vote on health care? And then start your campaign be presenting yourself as a champion of womens rights?I really didn't learn anything new about Hillary Clinton from that.

Yeah...its gonna get a bit bumpy...
yeah but that would make for a very short article ... nonetheless comprehensive. He is a pig. She is a whore.
Don't you find it personally fulfilling to see documentation of what you have always suspected ... and so useful in the near future.I really didn't learn anything new about Hillary Clinton from that.
I don't have time to read all 40 pages at the moment but thanks for sharing the link.yeah but that would make for a very short article ... nonetheless comprehensive.
Did you take it for granted she called the victims of a Senator groping them as being a bunch of whiners, or that anyone that reported instances of sexual harassment, assault, groping, and even rape by her husband as whiners? Its one thing to stand by your man (in light of the repeated allegations of adultery). Its quite another to ignore allegations of sexual assault in the name of political expediency and then vilify victims, THEN present yourself as a champion of womens rights.Yeah, but she is still married to the guy so I kind of took it as granted that she took his side.
Ultimately, as much as I like Bill not necessarily for his policies but he was relatively pragmatic and in comparison to prominent Dems today, moderate... he was and may be still is mentally a sexual predator. Now she still is married to him and I wonder if that continued marriage through the last 20 years will culminate in the pay off later this year when Hillary states she will run for President. I really will have a difficult time taking Hillary seriously about any women's issues...
Hillary comes across as aloof, vindictive, a sort of person that knows what is best for everyone else and if everyone else doesn't like it, too bad for them.

Funny to hear a woman being thought of as aloof, vindictive, and knowing what is best for people as a bad thing, when a series of men in the GOP have been thought of in much the same way, from Tom, the Hammer, Delay, BushII, Cruz, Gingrich, Santorum... well that's a perk not a slam.
In the end it just 'confirms' what those who don't care for her think, and is a shrug for most of the rest of us.
Good morning Pero
Your words are a perfect illustration of why so many liberals love her - she's a mirror image of themselves.
heh heh ... I betcha anyone who read that comment thought to themselves "Hey wait a minute... that sounds like Democrat Party marching orders ... what the hell is that guy trying to sell?", when a series of men in the GOP have been thought of in much the same way, from Tom, the Hammer, Delay, BushII, Cruz, Gingrich, Santorum... well that's a perk not a slam. :roll:Funny to hear a woman being thought of as aloof, vindictive, and knowing what is best for people as a bad thing

For one thing I am not a Republican, I belong to the Reform Party. Second I never cared for Delay, Cruz, Santorum and never voted for Bush II, prefering Browne in both elections as I also didn't like Gore or Kerry. Hillary does comes across as a vindictive B......, She IMO is a lot closer to Nixon than her husband Bill. Bill to me was a good ole southern boy and one I could relate to. If I could chose any president to have a beer with, Bill would be that president. Hillary comes across as a northeastener whinny whatever. But these are just my opinions. I never trusted Romney and didn't vote for him either, Mr. Flip Flop king.
I am talking individuals regardless of party. I do not want another Nixon in the white house and Hillary I think would be another Nixon. Why does everyone try to make these things party things?

Because, Pero, being "aloof, vindictive, and knowing what is best for people" IS a Democrat Party thing much more than any other mainstream Party.
I agree with all of this, except the Nixon part. I believe he was much better than given credit. In retrospect, I also believe Gore would have been better than Bush and Romney *possibly*, over Obama.
Hilliary is fairly smart, and probably becoming more pragmatic and flexible than many idealistic Dems.
We could discuss contemporary vindictiveness through misuse of Government entities but let's let that go for now ... what about "knowing what is best for people" to the point of mandating it?In the past with president I have personally experienced, LBJ and Nixon were very vindictive presidents. These two must head the list, Hillary in my opinion would be right up there with these two. So we have both parties involved here, at least at the presidential level.
