Wars dont give a shit about fair. Russia is 'rewarded not because they are 'right' but because they are a bigger and more capable combatant. When countries are attacked they fight back and win, or sue for peace. That requires a settlement. Its a shit sandwich and someone has to take a bite. Its usually NOT the person 'winning'.

There's nothing complicated about it.

Putzin is trying to rebuild the USSR. Ukraine is Phase 1. That's why other nations bordering Russia are building their militaries up...to avoid becoming part of Phase 2.

I have innumerable times, and with all kinds of historical links and quotes and so forth. But despite all the history and international wrangling that led up to a second Russian response, people with the mindset of eight year olds and/or warmongers, still want to think in terms of black and white. Let em. I have faith that Trump will see an end to the war and salvage Ukraine
