The FBI is weighing an arrest and perp walk for Comey — and suspended an agent for refusing to help, sources say

I am saying they disrupted our election, but it was obvious they wanted Trump to win. Putin said as much.

Not only that he wanted Trump to win but that he directed Russian officials to facilitate it.

I need to add to that what I not saying, which is that while they attempted to disrupt our 2016 POTUS election no one can state if they did so effectively enough to change its outcome.

Signatures were validated. Sorry you do not know how elections work.

might as well say it was Trump's organization that rigged the 2024 election. Only way he could have won. lol
Yes, every tenth of a second.

From Grok:

No, Vladimir Putin did not say in Helsinki in 2018 that he directed Russian officials to facilitate Donald Trump's win in the 2016 election. During the joint press conference on July 16, 2018, Reuters reporter Jeff Mason asked Putin directly: "Did you want President Trump to win the election? And did you direct any of your officials to help him do that?" Putin responded by affirming the first part—he said he wanted Trump to win because Trump had spoken about normalizing U.S.-Russia relations—but he sidestepped or did not affirm the second part about directing officials.

Putin repeatedly denied throughout the conference that the Russian state interfered in the U.S. election or directed any such efforts, calling the allegations "nonsense" and offering conditional cooperation on investigations.

Initial English translations and transcripts created ambiguity (e.g., some rendered his response as "Yes, I did" without full context), but clarified versions and analyses confirm he addressed only his personal preference, not any directive to officials.

U.S. intelligence assessments and Mueller indictments (issued days before the summit) concluded Russian interference occurred under Putin's direction to aid Trump, but Putin never admitted this in Helsinki.

Do you really think a man of the stature of Trump running a country and several businesses does his own packing? He hires stuff out. That's what a billion dollars does for you. The items that others packed were put in boxes and taken to his residence. What he said to some assassins in the FBI I have no way of knowing. We do know that many powerful people in the FBI and DOJ hated him, and still do. People like Thibault who was the one who was a big guy in the FBI and people were afraid of. He personally contacted Twitter, Face Book,CNN, etc. and told them that Hunter's laptop was disinformation by Russia, and they shouldn't run it because of the election coming up. He KNEW the laptop was the real deal. Then we have Weissmann, who was the one behind the impeachment. He attended all of Hillary's balls and event. The Bruce and Nellie Ohr, Pewter Strzok and Lisa Paige.

These FBI guys were no friends of Trump at all and held him in disdain. Once Trump was notified, his attorneys handled the communications. They were in continual contact. The FBI kept on his case, as if he was some Russian spy and was going to contact Pootin. He agreed to double lock the room where the files were until he had time to go through them personally. As we know, when the FBI raided him, guns drawn, while he was gone and kept his attorneys out of the house, they sniffed Melania's private garments if you know what I mean.

With Biden, he was allowed his attorneys to be present and was given notice that they would be there.

They were not friends of Trump? Really? Okay. Let's play a game. You be in possession of something you aren't supposed to have. See what happens. You won't be getting a phone call and a request to please return it. No letters about how you really should return it. They'll bust down your door and come searching for it while arresting you.

And Biden? Biden had attorneys go through his files to insure he was not in possession of anything. As soon as the files were found, they called the FBI to have them turned in. The exact same thing Pence did I might add. Hey, I grabbed this by mistake only works if you aren't hiding it.

Tell that to an idiot. Biden all of a sudden realizes he had files in some cardboard box and tells his attorneys?

you mean the guy that was fired and the ballots rechecked.
Got it.
Signatures not verified. Sorry. But that's the way you guys like it. A scrawled signature that doesn't match what's on file? Who cares. It's racist to suggest fraud.

sigh.
sorry you do not know what you are talking about regarding Arizona and the elections.

Not even close. Let's be realistic please. And please note that this is the same argument I used when this all happened.

As you said, the person in question doesn't pack up their own things. So staffers make mistakes. A file gets put in the wrong box. Accidents happen. However it is how you respond when you discover the accident that is the determining factor.

Trump was aware of the files, he had them moved to be hidden, even from his own lawyers according to the Affidavits submitted during the investigation. Biden when the Trump Story broke dispatched Lawyers to search his files to make sure that nothing was in there. Pence did the same thing. Again, accident over intention. When Biden and PENCE discovered the files, they contacted the FBI right away to request that the files be collected. That indicates that it was possibly accidental.

Let's say you have a work truck. You show up at work and collect the keys to the truck and use it while working. At the end of the shift you turn the keys in and go home in your own car. One day you realize you didn't turn the keys in. Someone on the night shift might need that truck and waste time looking for the keys. Do you call in and let the night shift know you have the keys? Do you just decide to take them with you the next morning? Do you take them back to the office on your own time because it is right to return those keys? Or do you throw the keys in the drawer and pretend you never had them?

If I was an employee and took the keys home you might write it off as a mistake if I admit it. Especially if I didn't do it regularly. If I was called at home and told you I didn't have the keys and someone is lying, what then? Chances are you would fire me in that second scenario.

Accidents happen. It is how we respond to those accidents that expose our character. Trump was exposed to have zero character. Biden may be an incompetent ass but he didn't have the Lawyers shred the files and pretend they didn't find anything. Neither did Pence. They both acted properly laying the groundwork that it was a mistake, an accident, not intentional.

It's Democrats who are engaged in mass pearl clutching over thr prospect of Comey receiving the same treatment as Navarro.

Well no but I dont care about your false narrative honestly.

He can declassify documents at will.

You are right. The President while serving can declassify documents at will. He absolutely has that power. There are a couple things though. First, he has to tell someone. Because once the documents are declassified they are available to the public. Secondly, the claim made that the documents were declassified, was never made in court. Motion to dismiss, the documents were declassified. Nope. Never made. That argument was only made in the press, never the Court.

However, once the President leaves office, his term ended, then the ability to declassify anything is gone. Thinking afterwards. Damn I should have done that while I was in, doesn't actually do anything.

Ex-special counsel John Durham undercut case against James Comey in interview with prosecutors: Sources

10/6/2025:
John Durham, the former special counsel who spent nearly four years examining the origins of the FBI investigation into President Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and its alleged ties to Russia, told federal prosecutors investigating James Comey that he was unable to uncover evidence that would support false statements or obstruction charges against the former FBI director, sources familiar with the matter told ABC News.
Federal prosecutors in Virginia met remotely with Durham in August to understand the findings of his investigation, according to sources familiar with the meeting, and his conclusions raise the prospect that Durham -- who was once elevated by Trump and other Republicans believing he would prosecute high-level officials involved with the investigation of the president's 2016 campaign -- could now become a key figure aiding Comey's defense.

Interesting how your reply has nothing to do with what I wrote. But nice effort at deflection.
