The FBI is weighing an arrest and perp walk for Comey — and suspended an agent for refusing to help, sources say

You like the idea of government pursuing criminal charges against innocent people for performative purposes?

You dont think their time would be better spent going after actual criminals?
You miss the point, @Paradoxical thinks anyone not subservient to trump IS a criminal.

I think there are a dozen criminals from his first administration in the FBI, CIA and DOJ, plus Dan Goldman and Adam Schiff who knew the Russian Collusion was a set-up.

Elaborate.
Nope.
You are playing the same old tactic you have used for a long time.
I asked you to prove McCain was a RINO. you have not provided any evidence to support your opinion.

So, I will not be answering your questions until you start addressing mine.

Where is the evidence besides your opinion. Elaborate. :ROFLMAO:

What were they doing specifically? Oh WAIT! Nothing anyone knows of but libs claim they did “something”.

You folks are truly uniformed and misinformed. It’s done to you on purpose. FAUXNEWS paid over 400 million in Penaltues so far, more is coming, because THEY LIED TO YOU.

What did they do? Ok, let’s answer that. I’ll keep it to Fancy Bear, because that’s the one I read the LE sourced available output on and I know the best.

Fancy Bear is GRU. The old KGB. The are the Russian government.

In 2016 they:

Hacked the DNC and DDNC. They stole oppo research. They stole campaign contributors’. Internal emails. They went after the Clinton campaign.

They created a phony presence; Gruccifer 2.0, to spread misinformation and stolen info anonymously. They created a website: DCLeaks .com, (link broken on purpose) to further that purpose.

The distributed misinformation and stolen info.

They passed stolen documents to Wikileaks.

They targeted election info structure, Bureau of Elections, state agencies - including Secretaries of State, the software companies for election machines. Luckily not much of it was successful.

While it is apparent they also attempted to hack some Republican election machinery the didn’t leak much, if any, of information they gleaned from those attempts.

How do we know that. We have White Hats in private industry and gov’t. I worked with sine if them. This crap leaves ‘fingerprints”. Fancy Bears were all over this stuff. They tracked it all down. It’s in the court documents that got these ass clowns indicted.

You MAGA folk would know this stuff if you bothered to look.

That’s not factual.

The story about his the Steele dossier was dodgy, but much if not most of what it surmised was factual.
Oxford defines "surmise" as

"suppose that something is true without having evidence to confirm it"

This fits the Dirty Dossier perfectly. Comey and others certified the Dossier as true without evidence to the FISA court which granted and renewed covert surveillance warrants to spy on the Trump campaign and administration illegally.
Russia did attempt to infiltrate and compromise our election and they colluded with others to accomplish it.

Despite 2 years and $46 million in investigation the Mueller concluded with no indictment of any American for cooperation or conspiracy with Russians. But for the Orange Man Bad lynch mob to surmise is all that is necessary.
There were cases. There were indictments. People were convicted. Did you conveniently forget that fact?
Did you forget no American was indicited for so-called Russian collusion related offenses? Oh wait, your supposition is all you need.

All sorts of indictments came out of that, though at the time none directly for collusions. Right up to the line but not over it.

Indictments related to the Special Counsel investigation
  • Paul Manafort: A former Trump campaign chairman, Manafort was convicted of financial crimes, including tax and bank fraud, related to his undisclosed lobbying work for a pro-Russia Ukrainian political party. He also pleaded guilty to conspiracy and witness tampering. He was later pardoned by President Donald Trump.
  • Rick Gates: Manafort's business associate and a deputy on the Trump campaign, Gates pleaded guilty to conspiracy and lying to investigators and cooperated with the investigation. He was later sentenced to intermittent jail time, probation, and a fine.
  • Roger Stone: A longtime Trump advisor, Stone was convicted of lying to Congress, witness tampering, and obstructing the House Intelligence Committee's investigation. The charges stemmed from his efforts to communicate with WikiLeaks during the 2016 campaign. He was also pardoned by President Trump.
  • George Papadopoulos: A former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser, Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with individuals he believed had ties to the Russian government.
  • Michael Flynn: The former National Security Advisor, Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about conversations he had with the Russian ambassador during the presidential transition. The Department of Justice later moved to drop the charges against him, and he was ultimately pardoned by President Trump.
  • Michael Cohen: President Trump's former personal lawyer, Cohen pleaded guilty to lying to Congress about the Trump Organization's real estate negotiations in Moscow during the 2016 campaign.
  • Richard Pinedo: A California man who pleaded guilty to identity fraud for selling fake bank accounts to Russians involved in the 2016 election disinformation campaign.
  • Alex van der Zwaan: A Dutch attorney who pleaded guilty to lying to investigators about his contacts with Rick Gates.

However in 2023 sealed indicted two US citizens and three Russian agents that seemed to have potential contacts back to this but guess who became POTUS and now this is gone. I can’t find out anymore about it.

History books are written by the most devious and those in power and influence. It is how Christianity was fabricated, and how everything bad about Trump becomes accepted as fact through repetition with anger and vitriol.

If anyone here is familiar with how LLMs operate and wonders why they get slanted answers on religion and politics.........it is because LLMs, AKA know as "AI" are filled with data from Wikipedia which is predominantly posted in by liberals and Christian apologists to control what people believe, and articles and news stories written by the left who dominate media.

Well then I’m glad we can set the record straight. This is the sequence of events as described in court documents and not challenged by Trumps lawyers. I’ll simplify it a bit.

The FBI learned that Trump had classified documents. They phoned and asked for the documents back. Team Trump said we ain’t got none.

The FBI checked with their sources and sure enough Trump had the documents. This time they sent a letter asking for the documents back. Very deferential for the former President out of respect. Team Trump said we ain’t got none.

The FBI now has to escalate. They go to a Judge and get a subpoena. A court order to turn over the documents almost but not quite voluntarily.

Team Trump turned over a few but the sources insisted Trump had more.

Finally the FBI gets a search warrant. They go and find the classified documents and Trump starts screaming that the documents were planted.

Then Trump claims the documents were securely stored until the FBI broke into the room to seize them.

Then Trump claims the documents were declassified. He can do that with a mere thought as President.

Okay. So the planted documents were securely stored in a manner which insured they wouldn’t be accessed by the wrong people despite being declassified?

Now is the part where you start screaming but Biden.

Nope.

No matter what I would say about the traitor McCain, you would still say he was a Republican. You like him because he tried to assassinate (virtually) Trump. The left used him to get Trump because they knew their tribal members like you would say "Oh, he's in your tribe, so whatever he says or does, you cannot criticize."

Do you really think a man of the stature of Trump running a country and several businesses does his own packing? He hires stuff out. That's what a billion dollars does for you. The items that others packed were put in boxes and taken to his residence. What he said to some assassins in the FBI I have no way of knowing. We do know that many powerful people in the FBI and DOJ hated him, and still do. People like Thibault who was the one who was a big guy in the FBI and people were afraid of. He personally contacted Twitter, Face Book,CNN, etc. and told them that Hunter's laptop was disinformation by Russia, and they shouldn't run it because of the election coming up. He KNEW the laptop was the real deal. Then we have Weissmann, who was the one behind the impeachment. He attended all of Hillary's balls and event. The Bruce and Nellie Ohr, Pewter Strzok and Lisa Paige.

These FBI guys were no friends of Trump at all and held him in disdain. Once Trump was notified, his attorneys handled the communications. They were in continual contact. The FBI kept on his case, as if he was some Russian spy and was going to contact Pootin. He agreed to double lock the room where the files were until he had time to go through them personally. As we know, when the FBI raided him, guns drawn, while he was gone and kept his attorneys out of the house, they sniffed Melania's private garments if you know what I mean.

With Biden, he was allowed his attorneys to be present and was given notice that they would be there.

Strong arm... lol..I should have invested in fainting couches decades ago with you guys.
It's Democrats who are engaged in mass pearl clutching over thr prospect of Comey receiving the same treatment as Navarro.

He should be made to put his hands behind his back while he's cuffed. To be fair, he should also have leg irons.

How soon the strong-arm tactics of Biden’s DOJ in arresting Trump advisor Peter Navarro for oh yeah, contempt of Congress are flushed down the memory hole. A public spectacle was staged at the airport with Navarro perp walked out in chains. Even the Obama appointed DC judge questioned the tactics. But applying the same treatment to Comey is an affront to democracy.
Common dude. Navarro publicly refused a subpoena, and never showed up. Comey came in and testify many times and never got defensive. It's be hard for the prosecution to even prove intent. And no perjury charge conviction means no obstruction charge conviction. The government case is extremely weak. I'll just leave it at that.

You admit Mueller produced no indictments of Americans for Russian collusion then catalog the list of political persecution carried out by Democrat hyperpartisans acting under the KGB doctrine of "show me the man, I'll show you the crime".

He should be made to put his hands behind his back while he's cuffed. To be fair, he should also have leg irons.
Democrat zealot prosecutors could have simply requested Navarro surrender for arrest as he fits the profile for this treatment. Bit that wouldn't have generated the made for TV special they craved.

Well there you go, anyone who objects to being targeted by the DOJ by becoming "defensive" is assumed guilty. I’ll leave it at that.

They marched him out in chains before reporters that just happened to be there. A classic perp walk.
So. He refused a subpoena and was boarding a plane. Did they know for sure he wasn't leaving the country? Most people with minor charges like Comey are allowed to turn themselves in.

If I was a retired investigator (and I am) with an axe to grind (I’m not), I’d be quite happy to be given this opportunity if I survived it, and odds look good Comey will (if he gets a fair trial - and therein lies the rub) a person found innocent who is now suing for malicious prosecution has a lot more rights in court with subpoenas looking for info on which to base a tort case than prosecutors doing the same for criminal cases.

Comey will be able to pry open all sorts of facets of Trump’s personal and business dealings.

That Trump’s people might figure this out is why I think this doesn’t get to an actual trial.
I'm not sure Trump's people are savvy enough to figure it out. They're all caught up in reality TV.
The judge, however, will see the total BS and deal with it accordingly.

They were silent when a Catholic father was arrested in the wee hours of the morning by several FBI agents for lightly shoving a pro abortion advocate a year earlier where no prosecutor before thought there was any case.

Are you are aware that your side never produced a lick of evidence of who "they" were?

A) NOT MY SIDE. Are you trying to be insulting or do you just not hear what you don’t want to hear?

My side is truth, the scientific method and the enforcement of law. My “side’ in anything is were ever the investigation takes me.

B) What are you talking about? There were TWELVE Russians nationals indicted in July of 2018 in this.

There was more but they are GRU. They make their living being unknown bad actors doing covert bad acts.
