The European Parliament has passed a resolution which calls on the EU to support the establishment of a UN Commission of Inquiry into human rights violations in North Korea.
On June 17th, The European Parliament has also adopted a resolution condemning North Korea for the torpedo attack on the South Korean Nave corvette Cheonan. This was three weeks ago.

The resolution condemns North Korea for their public executions, kidnapping of foreigners and in particular the use of torture and labour camps against political prisoners and repatriated citizens.

The global society will continue to support human rights actions in the future.

Let us hope that North Korea reflects on this matter and bring and end to the suffering of North Korean citizens.
