That makes the odds more like 1 in 42,000,000. And 1-that is an outlier...a very high number per year. Typically the number is 3 per year.

There have been 18 school shootings in 37 years. There are some 360000 schools the odds of a child being involved in a mass shooting at a school in any given year are extraordinarily small.

That doesn’t discuss the day to day violence which is potentially much higher. 1.2 million violent crimes and an average of about 14.5 thousand murders annually. That sounds a lot...BUT...statistically...if you stay out of major democrat controlled cities in the US the likelihood of you becoming a victim shrinks dramatically.

That is probably a misleading statistic. If you live in metro Chicago or northern Chicago, you probably live a relatively safe life. South or West side...**** gets pretty real.

They do but only when they want to talk about attacking the gun rights of law abiding citizens. They NEVER talk about those shootings when it comes to DOING something...because now instead of talking about white men they have to talk about the VAST MAJORITY of shooters which are black men.

Heck...they even get the ethnic origin of mass shooters wrong. Stereotypically it is claimed that the vast majority of mass shooters are angry white young men. Historically there has been a pretty solid ethinic mix and over the last 35 shootings its been almost 50/50.
