The country is not faring well under trump

So many ‘emergencies’ he has had to declare. That’s not good.
Now there is the threat of ‘rebellion’ and even ‘insurrection’ (he knows what that looks like).
He ‘had to’ call out the national guard against the wishes of a state governor. That’s not good.
The ’need’ to disrupt global trade and implement the whipsaw flip-flop on again off again high and then low tariffs. Not good.
The ‘radical left’ is routinely critical of his (stupid and damaging) policies. Not good.
It’s not going well at all.
Common denominator? Donald Mad King Trump.

There is quite a bit of chaos and emergencies we did not see with Biden or, frankly, frankly with any other president in my liretime.

@BabaVoss is right. You have the trade imbalance emergency with just about all other countries, the foreign invasion emergency resulting in people being deported to 3rd countries without due process, warrantless intrusions into worksites and now this overreaction to LA protests and rioters.

I can't remember a time when the US was this dysfunctional.
 
Left wing hype. When illegals and illegal supporters attack law enforcement it's a real problem. When democrats and socialist and anarchist support the criminal acts it's an even larger problem.
The LA Mayor and the CA Governor, ignored the need for proper fire protection and CA/LA burned. Now they want to find a left wing cause to support to switch the narrative. Sorry, violence in any amount against law enforcement during a "mostly peaceful" bullshit protest that results in participants attacking law enforcement cannot be allowed. I love the lefts claims of what peaceful is. Sort of like, don't believe your own eyes when you watch Joe Biden stumble and fall, stutter and go into a trance like state, and tell us they never noticed. Reality isn't in the democrat playbook.
BTW, bought your tell all book on the Biden sham written by left wing news personalties and a Biden administration insider? Seems they just missed it for years until they finally admitted it was always there.

True. But the country didn’t fare well under Biden either which led to Trump’s second term. Not even during Trump’s first term did this country fair well which was very chaotic just like this term is turning out to be. Trump brings chaos which is to be expected. A plurality of the people were satisfied with both Obama and G.W. Bush’s tenures. But it seems the last time folks thought this country did pretty well was during Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan. Both had high overall job approvals and were viewed very positive by most Americans.
 

Good thing our founding fathers had more balls to fight back.

Someone was signing Biden's name without evidence that he was aware of the decision. You cannot get much more undemocratic, and it scares me more than anything since Iran/Contra.

Sorry, but my NO objective measures is Trump a "real president" ..... you make like him, but don't do the foolish thing and try to normalize him. He is an autocrat and wanna be dictator with very little respect for the US Constitution. He is so far from the mold of a "real American" president, that its unnerving for most sober thinking Americans. Most American presidents do not win by 1 point in a general, then think that constitutes a mandate, so they proceed to run roughshod over the political interests and rights of half the country.

But, you made the claim, now back it up. If you want to make the argument that he is a "real president", then list five other successful presidents that you consider "real" presidents and compare Trump to the attributes of each....

Well, they were prior to Donnie Boy calling the National Guard. Now whatever happens afterwards is on him as well. Micro managers tend to insert themselves into everything and try to take credit for successes, and deflect blame to others for failures. This has been demonstrated numerous times already.

It's going just fine. Trump's biggest snafu is his failure to end the war in Ukraine. He said he would do it in 24 hours. It's been over 24 WEEKS and it still hasn't been done. Other than that, Trump is doing what he promised to do in his campaign - - America First, Deport Illegals.

The chaos seems to be mostly provided by the resistance of the democrats who still can't deal with the failure of their party on key issues to the American voter. Border safety, transgenders in womens/girls sports, soft of crime attitude. The national polling shows these issues are 80/20 or more in favor of the republicans and President Trump's position. So what do dems do? What they always do, violent "peaceful" protests where they burn things and attack things like, police and other law enforcement members, burn police cars and buildings. Just in case you don't know, these are violent crimes and in many cases felonies. However the democrats as always refuse to acknowledge the violence by their party. Result, they lost the elections in 2024 and their party is in chaos. Not the nation, the democrats. Who do we see burning, attacking law enforcement? Democrats and their supporters.
