I’ll bet all of those meat packing and processing plants in Nebraska aren’t going to be real happy. Nothing like the federal and state government doing something that’s a detriment to a pretty big business in the state.

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. I’ve never seen or heard of an immigration raid at a processing plant that only resulted in a couple of people hauled away in handcuffs. There are usually enough people detained to shut down the entire plant for days or weeks, or to greatly disrupt the supply chain. Since the plants are usually in small towns out in the sticks, the pain is felt throughout the community.
Outfits like Cargill, Tyson, JBS, Smithfield, etc. may give money generously to Trump and Republicans, but does that really matter at this point, to people like Trump, Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, and that blockhead Tom Homan? They’ve got quotas to reach.
