I generally have a few breakfasts that I rotate. When I get tired of them, I try something else.
 
My current favorite weekend breakfast : two fried eggs with salt, pepper, and hot sauce, two slices of toast with strawberry preserves, and a cup of coffee.

I asked my doctor about the current state of the whole egg / cholesterol thing. He said that I'm good to have an egg a day if I want (five a week.)
 
2 slices of toasted cinnamon bread with apple butter, half an English muffin with butter, cuppa joe, oj.
 
Two fried eggs with salt, pepper, and hot sauce, two slices of toast with blueberry preserves, and a cup of coffee.

It's a colloquial expression that I have picked up over the years. Never asked what it meant. Only heard it every time we had breakfast consisting of fried eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, fried tomatoes, and potatoes.

I don’t make it a lot so my version still needs some work. Not many restaurant/diners offer it so it’s hard to find a decent one. The best I had was in a diner in New Jersey who had a Mexican chef.😋
