The 2016 Democrat Party Primary choices were extremely limited and lacked substance;
This coming from the Republican Party... Did you watch the debates? It literally evolved into a dick measuring contest... .
Clinton or Trump; which Candidate has what it takes to defeat the other in a fight for the Presidency?
As usual, the talking heads and political pundits have been busy-busy-busy informing the public of their favorite candidate's strong points and qualifications_
The Trump pundits tell us his major 'strong points' are simply his not being a political insider which translates to his politically in-correct manner of delivering his unique view of the issues and taboo solutions to fix them_
The Hillary pundits on the other hand, tell us that her 'qualifications' are decades of insider experience and her major 'strong points' are her political prowess and expert debating skills which she uses to defeat her opponents_
After observing months of Hillary's rallies, speeches, debates and interviews, I just ain't seeing her "prowess" in any area of public speaking_
In fact, delivering her message appears to be a major weakness despite her many years of political insider experience and campaign involvement!
Hillary's supporters are the usual crowd that is forever attracted to political candidates who promise them abundant rewards at the expense of US Taxpayers; which Hillary delivers with a loud boring monotone voice!
IMO; Hillary Clinton has but two major 'strong points' to aid her in the Primaries and 2016 Election:
(1) The 2016 Democrat Party Primary choices were extremely limited and lacked substance; Hillary's only real challenger being an un-electable 72 year old self-avowed socialist_
(2) But mostly the support she is guaranteed by the Main Stream Media for being top Democrat Candidate, which unfortunately went to Obama by 'skin-pigment default' back in '08_(that darned ole PC MSM)
What say you my fellow members???

Yet another lesser of two evils POTUS election awaits us. The problem is that one of them will win and our congress critters will continue to let the POTUS make laws.

We don't know this for sure because only one of them has a political history from which to draw such a conclusion!Yet another lesser of two evils POTUS election awaits us. The problem is that one of them will win and our congress critters will continue to let the POTUS make laws.
Yep; I watched them and I think you may be exaggerating just a wee bit Demsoc_This coming from the Republican Party... Did you watch the debates? It literally evolved into a dick measuring contest... .
Can ya believe it; lil-ole brainiac me had ta look up "dreck"_ :giggle1:Who knows, which one has the better dreck on the other.
You mean the fear mongering? The "my wife is hotter than your wife"? The unrealistic promises such as building a wall and getting Mexico to pay for it? The blame game directed at Megyn Kelly? The empty platitudes?Yep; I watched them and I think you may be exaggerating just a wee bit Demsoc_
I believe it was more of a lapsed into, rather than "evolved" into_
You obviously missed the abundance of substantive issues that were dealt with between those lapses_
This is nearly verbatim to what the GOP Establishment and a few of their Democrat counterparts are saying_I've said before and I'll say it again - This election is not about who is the most qualified, but about who is the least hated. All the talk about qualifications is meaningless because this election is going to come down to who will bring out the biggest number of people to vote against the other guy...
If you actually watched the debates as you have claimed and these things are all you came away with then you are truly cursed with selective memory_You mean the fear mongering? The "my wife is hotter than your wife"? The unrealistic promises such as building a wall and getting Mexico to pay for it? The blame game directed at Megyn Kelly? The empty platitudes?

My guess is you simply watched cherry-picked snips of the debates on MSNBC, CNN or any of the big 3 networks, better known as the Main Stream Media!
Have a lovely day Demsoc_eace
And let me guess__The "chunk" you are referring to consists primarily of Trump supporters that are fed up with our borders and immigration laws being ignored by our Hispanic neighbors to the south as well as a US Government that has refused to enforce them?!No I watched the debates. They were great! A real tell all of the mindset of a great chunk of this countries population.
And let me guess__The "chunk" you are referring to consists primarily of Trump supporters that are fed up with our borders and immigration laws being ignored by our Hispanic neighbors to the south as well as a US Government that has refused to enforce them?!
And the "mindset" that upsets you so much is the one this chunk of people were forced to adopt in order to fix this overwhelming illegal immigration catastrophe that is destroying The American Dream and Great Western Culture for all US citizens and legal immigrants alike!
I for one can't imagine why every American and legal immigrant doesn't share this "chunk mindset"!
There might be a much bigger chunk than any of us suspect__I suppose we'll find out come November?!
Well, Hillary may be a slimeball but she's also a savvy politician. She further appears to have any core principles and is therefore willing to compromise. She's also pragmatic. So despite all of her character flaws, I'd be much happier with her than with Trump.
Trump's a loose cannon and it seems unlikely that even he knows what he thinks from moment to moment.

Well, that's original. And winning the nomination shows Trump is definately a quick study.
Yes, it does. I'll give him that.
However, if we are correct in giving him that, the fact can be read to cast a negative light on his supporters given (1) his apparent utter cluelessness about major policy issues, (2) the fact that he only just now realized that it looks bad to make your policy up on the spot, then flip-flop like Hillary in response to reactions, (3) statements that are either bigotted or designed to appeal to bigots, like saying that the Mexican government is deliberately exporting rapists, murderers, and junkies to the US, (4) idiotic and financially disastrous policies like building a thousands-mile-long wall, demanding Mexico pay for it, then deporting all our illegals and hoping they don't cross over using the water.
Etc etc etc. He's a loose cannon, a demagogue, a compulsive liar, a coward, a bully, a bad man, incompetent on governance, a hypocrite, a man who miraculously avoided complete failure in the one area he most trumpets himself on - success as a businessman - and a lot of other things.
In short, he makes Hillary look decent in comparison, and that should scare everyone. I'd sit home if pretty much any other Republican was nominee - well, OK, I'd probably have to vote against Huckabee - but he's actually making me consider pretending I'm still in college, downing a fifth of whiskey, holding my nose, and voting for Hillary.
That's saying a lot.
Trump is a wild card. He knows he will need help and I don't think he afraid to ask for it. I think Trump will move slower than you think. And there is a chance he means a little of what he says. We need to watch both boarders and I don't care how it is done. And trade is a mess. Foreign policy needs more teeth.
And as far as Muslims I hope it goes far enough to educate the public about Islams doctrine. And Americans will put it together by themselves judging by actions not words.
Oh, not this muslims-in-general stuff again.
The problem is extremists, which tend to be cultivated (though not without exception) in destitute areas; this is true whether we're talking about terrorists, about gangs, about criminals, about any sort of bad people in poor isolated and hopeless places. The 20% or whatever of Afghanis who respond to polls with questions like "are there any circumstances possible in reality, in which blowing yourself up to kill another is a choice you support?" is both (1) way broader of a question than should have been asked, namely, "do you support suicide bombings for the purpose of attacking western civilization or defending Islam?", and (2) likely going to elicit the worst answers from the most rural, backwood Afghanis - the ones in some remote village who stone a person to death, not some shopkeeper in Kabul.
ISIS, Al Queda, and other groups should be exterminated.
Exterminated.
But that in no way justifies general anti-muslim bias, hatred, or policies reflecting general anti-muslim fear.

Hillary is your everday politician in routine campaign mode; although by-far the most corrupt and dishonest_Hillary Clinton is the worst candidate in living memory, except for Trump. That clown is making a ridiculous spectacle of the electoral process, the Presidency and your country. Given your choices this election, I'd vote for Larry, Moe being too emotional and Curly not smart enough.

I'm no Trump fan by any stretch but c'mon... you're really going to go after the GOP for unrealistic promises when Bernie Sanders is in the mix for the DNC?:lamoYou mean the fear mongering?
