The best way to create fair abortion policy is to use statistical outcomes of the laws and policies we currently have in use right now.

Tabulated evidence of what? And compared to what?
States are required to keep and send to the various federal agencies the numbers of events of certain kinds: some of which are number of births, number of premature births, child and maternal deaths at birth, the number of births that resulted in children with genetic malformations and genetic problems, child abuse, spousal abuse, the socioeconomic level of all individuals and families. From those numbers the federal government compares rates in each state. There is no federal requirement to report abortions. Once data is collected is pretty easy to determine rates and compare those numbers with other states, other countries or with intra-state rates and tell whether laws and funding are working as expected or not.

Ask weaver2. He's the one who brought it up.

??? You asked.:

Tabulated evidence of what? And compared to what?

She clearly wrote: numbers of abortions. Besides that, what would be meaningful to you to determine laws controlling abortions?

  • what age the women are?
  • what their relationship status is?
  • what sex education is taught in the schools where she attended?
  • what reproductive services and counseling are available in her state and what they cost?
  • what is the current access to abortion in her state?
  • what weeks the abortions take place?
  • what was the reason?
  • did her partner refuse to wear a condom?
  • why do men refuse to wear condoms and how can they be influenced to be more responsible and less coercive?
  • her financial status/stability?
  • if she lives in a physically secure situation or is abused?
  • do financial stability and physical security lead to fewer abortions?
  • etc. <fill in the blank>
What matters to you when it comes to restricting (or not) a woman's access to abortion? And why?

You could also see what we already know that DID drive abortion numbers down. Did you read post 9? Your thoughts?

As is your inability to debate in good faith. Yet feel the need to bait others. You haz a sad.

Unlike you, I've learned not to waste my time in endless trolling sessions where I ask a legitimate question or give a legitimate response, and you/they continually dodge, repeat yourself/themself, mischaracterize what I said, insult, or move the goalposts.

Nowadays, if I ask a question and don't get a meaningful answer, I drop it because it's not worth the effort. You should try it.

PS: How do I already know that you're going to respond to this doing exactly what I just said, and expecting another response that will not be forthcoming?

I posted very politely and constructively...you are playing the victim to get out of committing to debate again.

What exactly did I provide that wasnt "meaningful?" Constructive and on-topic? Plainly stating I was trying to encourage debate?

@Noodlegawd OMG ⬇️ I'm a monster troll! 👻

What criteria are you looking for that would be meaningful to you?

Abortion is not a policy.

Abortion is a woman exercising her right to bodily autonomy.

Stop trying to control women. It is disgusting.

Does the sperm donor have any say in whether or not the baby gets killed?

None at all. But he should have a say in whether he has to pay for her choice to have a child that she can not afford to care for properly.

Sounds like a pretty self-serving and soulless belief, lacking in decency and concern for others. The modern woman.

Sounds like self-serving and soulless troglodytes, lacking in morals and wanting to control women into forced servitude.

The archaic man...

Nah, the ones without morals are those who kill their babies because they're an inconvenience.

A fetus is not a baby.... and a man that has sex with a woman that does not want to bear his children is a male whore. 🤗

Wow, what a misogynistic comment.

There are no babies in an abortion.

I don't need to. I'm telling you, because it is true.

No it's not true. Misguided excuse-making doesn't change the fact that an abortion snuffs out a human life. The same woman who kills her baby in the womb would probably be appalled by someone killing a puppy or baby bird.

Who says it's "misguided?" A woman's reasons are her own and she decides what is best for her. Still no "baby" in the womb either. No baby (neonate) until birth. Simple fact!

I say it's misguided., A human life is destroyed every time an abortion is performed, that's everyone's concern.

Who cares? It's not your place to judge or decide for anyone else, especially when you dont know their circumstances.
A human life is destroyed every time an abortion is performed,
So what?
that's everyone's concern.
Explain how! Someone having an abortion certainly has no negative effect on you, member, or society in general. So how is it my or anyone's concern?
