I think it's safe to say the Russian army is running low on vehicles at the moment.

It is Russia advancing and yet more Ukrainian retreating. Ukraine cannot win this war.
Russia already lost it as the pretext was about stopping the expansion of NATO and the war actually caused the expansion with 2 countries that militarily are far stronger than Ukraine ever was.
The only question now is how bad will that loss be

Regardless Ukraine cannot win this war.

Dont know about that, but Russia has already lost it
No they have already won. They have the Donbas and the southern oblast, linking Russia to Crimea. If peace is not established, they will take Odessa too. Then Ukraine will have no port.

Most of the initial aims have been accomplished. Not just most but the important ones.

This isn't true.

Putin laid out several objectives of the SMO, which were to "demilitarize, de-Nazify" Ukraine, and prevent the expansion of NATO.

"Demilitarize" is an uncertain term; Ukraine certainly still has a military, but this may also be not entirely literal (a decimation of capabilities rather than complete elimination), so I'll leave that one open ended.

"De-Nazify" is meaningless; Ukraine is not a Nazi state, is headed by a man of Jewish descent, and does not subscribe to Nazi ideology. However, given that Putin labeled the Zelensky government as "Neo-Nazi", this lends credence to the idea Putin seeks the dismantling of the current government in Kiev. that has clearly failed.

Preventing the expansion of NATO clearly backfired, as instead it has expanded to include Sweden and Finland.

"protecting ethnic Russians in Donbas" goes hand in hand with the argument that Ukraine was conducting a "genocide" of ethnic Russians in Donbas. Since this is nonsense at face value, it's not an achievable goal to begin with, because there never was a genocide.

You post this half-assed nonreply basically every other ****ing post and then whine that your posting behavior gets called out for its lack of effort and trolling.

It may be wise for Ukraine not to miss this last opportunity to keep Odessa. It already lost Crimea, Mariupol, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Niu York

Russia has a long history regarding Odessa. It has a pretty high percentage of ethnic Russians, or at least it did have. Probably the ethnic Russians have been pressured to leave.

If neither can win what is the objection to freezing it?
I never said Ukraine can't win it, but the objections to freezing it are bifold.

First, it cannot be "frozen" unilaterally! Everybody knows Putin's "freeze" would be violated at his first opportunity. Only someone with their head way up their ass believes otherwise. We know his intentions, both by what he has expressed, and by he has already done.

Second, Putin had no business invading Ukraine, and should be driven out. Period.

Russia has already lost portions of Kursk and most of its refining capability.

The Russian economy is on life-support.

Regardless Ukraine cannot win this war.

Then we should give them what they need to make Russia's victory a painful one.

More destroyed oil refineries.
Further demolition of the Russian military through more equipment destruction & taking out Russian soldiers.

If Russia didn't have any manpower concerns, then this latest trend of sending wounded men into combat can only be ascribed to sadism on the part of Russian commanders.
