During our formative years we learned how to use our muscles by doing things, mostly from curiosity and experimentation. After numerous times of doing the same things over and over again, we gradually learned to relate with what we were doing with our memories of doing them, our first experience, the connection of memory and deed.

In time, we finally learned that experience was sense stimulation, whether we physically reacted to it or not, our present memory compared with past memories of similar happenings, and whether we liked or didn't like the result.
