Terry McAuliffe abruptly ends interview, tells local Virginia reporter, 'You should've asked better questions'

Trump lied to every American about the severity of COVID because he didn't want Americans to be informed about making decisions as to their own health. Trump is a wamnabe totalitarian creep.
To include tons of leftist media pundits, medical experts, and Democrat politicians so why are you only caring about one person that did that?

That gives them every right in the world to voice their opinions on what's being taught to their kids.
Opinions yes, final approval of curriculums no. Parents elect people to consider their opinions and make decisions. Don't like it vote them out but the notion that parents should directly set curriculums is nuts?

Parents pay taxes to support the schools and pay salaries to these board members. That gives them every right in the world to voice their opinions on what's being taught to their kids.
Not only 'voice their opinions', but also to have the curriculum they want, collectively at least.

While that sounds great schools don't have the money to teach kids all kinds of different things on request.
There also needs to be base standards so you can't just decide that you don't like certain things talked about in history or science class.

If you don't agree with public school teaching send the kids to a private school where they can learn whatever you like.
Public school has to be for everyone and as such has to be standardised.

how many more Americans should needlessly die from COVID?
covid is a disease, not a politician. it's going to take what it takes and then go away. No matter how many times you vaccinate, or wear masks, you're going to get it. everyone will get it, as every doctor has stated.
just give me a number.
Just tell me what these deaths are supposed to justify for you?

Friend of Hillary doesn't want parents to make any decisions about their children's' education. McAuliffe is a totalitarian creep.
And this is why Lady Bum and I pulled our brats from public school and sent them to a STEM Academy.

*sigh* I wish you Anti-Parents Rights types would stop using that warped trope.

They don't have to teach everything that every single parent wants. There's this beautiful thing called "Compromise". As in "School Boards can COMPROMISE on what should be taught from the suggestions of parents":

-Take all the suggestions.
-Have parents vote on a few of the suggestions.
-Look at what got the majority of the votes
-Decide if it's doable.
-If so, put it in the curriculum. Everyone wins! Parents get a say in what's taught and School Board officials get to keep their jobs.

What about the rights of the people who object to the change?
A public school should stick to the regular curriculum so that everyone gets the same education.

What about the rights of the people who object to the change?
Then they should show up to the meetings and state their objections and make and vote on suggestions. It's that simple.

Are curriculums really established on a board by board basis? Is there no Statewide standard?
