Home run and a couple hits on first day in High-A. Next, the Bigs. Well, not quite, but maybe by September.

Will he pull it off?

his overall performance was so poor that his promotion is one of the least probable in the last decade.
Kudos to Tim and Gator Baseball! Gators swept LSU this week to win the NCAA Championship.
Whether Mr. Tebow advances in Baseball or not, he continues to have options most of us can only dream about.
Beginning of 3rd grade, I moved into Family Housing on the UF Campus. The Gators had a pass-oriented QB named Steve Spurrier. My older brother, a 10th grader, played as a defensive back that year at Gainesville High School.
I bleed Orange and Blue, through the good times and the tough times. I can remember, probably 1979, Coach Charlie Pell leading the Gators to a 0 - 10 - 1 Season. You could spot me at every home game in the student section. If you looked really close you might spot a joint in my right hand. If you couldn't see it, you might smell it. If you took a sip of my coke, you knew I had doctored it up. I always lost my voice before the end of the game from cheering. I had thousands of students surrounding me who always had my back.
Until Spurrier came aboard as Head Coach in 1990, Gators had never won an SEC Football Championship. Spurrier molded Wuerfel into a Champion QB. Coach Urban molded Tebow into a Champion QB.
We Gators love our heroes! Count Tebow among them. We have had our villains too: the late Aaron Hernandez. Some of you might remember a basketball player, Vernon Maxwell... whose testimony put the Gator basketball program on severe probation.
After decades of wondering and observing, I have determined God favors the Gators. Tebow has a reputation for fervently loving all things God.
Emmit Smith.
A good friend of mine was linebacker at Vandy. He'll never forget the spanking he got when the Gators came to town.
Wow. I am so out of touch when it comes to sports. I had no idea he switched over to baseball. Is he trying to "Be Like Bo"?

Bo at least was a very good professional football player. Teabow never was. He was an awful NFL QB.
This is just a publicity stunt by the Mets. Not sure why, but it is.
Because they suck donkey balls?
Not sure what or how Tebow in the Minors has anything to do with the Major league team. But OK.
If they call him up to Citifield then yeah, but right at Double A ball? Nah
Mets are 10 games out already. By September, they'll be 20 back. Bringing in Tebow will create a buzz and sell a few tickets for an otherwise dead team that no one would pay any attention to.
IF they do that, then yeah we'll know that this was all a publicity stunt for the Major League level. But from what I am reading he's nowhere near the Majors, he's not that good. Besides Tebow in NYC isn't the best place to 'sell tickets'. He played for the Jets, very few cared if he played or not. And the Mets would get DESTROYED in the press.
I'm thinking this is a minor league publicity stunt, sell a few tickets down there? IDK.
